Staff were all lovely but the pool was having maintenance work carried out which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We were offered a free drink each in the restaurant as compensation but myself and my husband do not drink alcohol so was not really anything in comparison. The sofa bed for the kids was ridiculously uncomfortable, flat as a pancake and lumpy. The breakfast was lovely the next morning and all staff were friendly and nice.

This was our first break away with our 3 month old. We booked a family room, only to arrive and find these are all on the first floor and there is no lift. Leighton was amazing at helping us get the pram to our room and later sorting the order for our evening meal. Room looked clean, however we didn't appreciate the extra Ant guests staying!

The hotel is dated on the exterior but quite modern inside. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great.

Staff were great, it was very clean. Felt a little dated in the pool/sauna area, but overall very very satisfied.

Great hotel, better quality but much cheaper than Travelodge for the date and location we wanted. Free wifi was a bonus! Parking was easy and free and the staff at reception friendly.

Lovely staff, really helpful when we needed a cot and the tv rebooting. Pool is an added bonus, especially with 2 small children and a long car journey. Breakfast was good value with a decent selection of hot and cold options. Would very happily stay here again- excellent value and facilities for a family overnight stay.

Friendly reception and helpful in organising a late checkout for us. Room is comfy and the TV is large! Powerful shower. If we are up this way again will be booking this hotel

Friendly receptionist, advised room was on the ground floor. Wandered around the ground floor, couldn't see any directions to bedrooms, asked a member of staff, who advised it was lower ground floor, down two sets of stairs. Arrived at room, neither key would open the door. Back to reception who re-activated cards. Back to room, only to discover this was not the room I booked. Back to reception who tried to convince I had booked a standard room. Getting no where fast, back to the room, unpack laptop and log on to confirm the room booked. Back to reception, showed them the booking. Receptionist called duty Manager. Progress at last, finally accepted they had not given me the room I had booked. Moved to new room. Stay was okay, the corridor fire door outside our room was noisy from 6am, the TV remote had two buttons that didn't work and the bathroom extractor fan didn't work. Two halves of lager at over £9 seemed excessive. Other than that, everything was fine.

Good price. Great breakfast. Clean and great shower. Worth the money. 20 mins drive into Leeds

My grandsons really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast.

Excellent on front desk. Explained there been a leak so might effect the water pressure . Breakfast was good . Service Excellent in the bar evening and morning breakfast service. Bright cheerful A few things disabled access lefts should be just one not 3 as not helpful

I reported that the telephone line in the bedroom I lodged was faulty but nothing was done. I repeatedly went to reception to ask questions. The room was neat and comfortable. The breakfast was not great. Food items brought out for buffet were insufficient. The staff stated they were awaiting supplies.

Very nice, clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and clean, pretty modern and very comfortable.

Woke up by another guest outside my room 11.30 pm complaining about seeing three since staying and wanted to leave. I now know that because i was kept awake all night by scratching and noise of rodents running that there was a issue i checked out the next morning cutting my visit short. Room wss in a bad state of disrepair and so was the bathroom Corridoor smelt of bleach.

would be nice to have the soap and shampoo containers checked that they are full and working
