We stayed here for our child’s graduation and were completely disappointed. We had two rooms, both in terrible condition—old, dirty, and not worth the $500 per night they charged. Carpets were stained, wallpaper peeling, furniture worn out, and the bathrooms were grimy and unusable. The air conditioning barely worked and blew a moldy, musty smell. Dust covered the vents and corners—clearly no proper cleaning has been done in a long time. This hotel may not claim to be luxury, but for that price it should at least be decent and comfortable. Instead, it felt like a ripoff. West Lafayette deserves better than this for visiting families. Would not stay again or recommend.

The hotel was clearly a work in progress, and the breakfast was just ok. But the staff were nice and super helpful when we asked to switch rooms because the first smelled like smoke (the new room was great). The hotel is very convenient to Purdue.

We loved the staff, Marie and Monier, and how they accomodated us with 2 king suite rooms since our double bed room was under construction plus very friendly with casual conversation. Perfect location to Purdue U 'Boiler up Hammer down' for graduation plus hotel is across the street from Wal-Mart. Top floor under construction to upgrade the 80's look. We will certainly stay here again.

Kind of old

Stayed for a Mom’s weekend. Room was well kept and clean. A few quirks in the new hallway: no trashcan in the bathroom, had to call front desk for a hairdryer. Staff was lovely. Location very convenient to the University.

Front desk help was nice but the place was not in good shape. We left the free breakfast because it was a mess. Overnight I saw bugs running around in the bathroom. Won't go back.

Architecturally, it b is obvious that the enclosure of the pool area was not done with a lot of fore-thought. The place smells of mildew throughout amd even inside the rooms.

This hotel is dilapidated, dirty, unkept and sketchy. No idea how they are still in business. It was so bad that I couldn’t stay there.

It was under construction and had no amenities. Not even a candy machine.

Property is under renovation. Pools are closed and there is very limited staff.

Everything was clean and staff was friendly. I was in town to visit my grad student and was happy to have a clean friendly place to stay close to his apartment. I could see the improvements since my last stay in August.

As always, Quality provides a warm and relaxing stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The property has character - it was originally built in the late 1970s - so it has miles on the facility. Updates are being accomplished....I've stayed at the hotel over the past six months approximately 30 days/times. I have seen the progress made. The rooms are fairly uniform - by brand requirements - and meet and exceed my expectations for the price point. The morning breakfast is quick to-go. Cereal, yogurt, peanut butter and jelly, juices, oatmeal. Spacious facility to relax inside or outside as well. Proximity to Walmart, Fast Dining and Gas as well. The staff is very friendly and will do whatever they can, within reason, to provide a comfortable stay.

I flew in from California for my 10 year anniversary. I reserved a king room and got there to find they gave it to someone else and “upgraded” us to a suit, but the room was heartbreaking, wallpaper was peeling back off the walls, the carpet was chewed up at the edges, the caulking around the tub/shower had black mold spots. I was also not told until I checked in that they were under construction for renovations. We stayed in the room for about 8 minutes before walking out and finding another hotel to stay in. The staff who checked us in was SO SWEET, however this was a big let down.

I stay at this hotel every time I visit Purdue, it is a great location. They are now doing a remodel, so it is updated & bathroom is super clean & nice. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating.
