Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gepflegt, die Lage des Hotels hervorragend, in der Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zahlreiche Restaurants und Ausgehmöglichkeiten sind bequem fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Service im Hotel war insgesamt freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das kleine, aber feine Aperitifbuffet in der Club-Lounge (Executiv-Room) ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Das Frühstück in der Lounge wurde aber leider vom schlechten Service der Mitarbeiterin überschattet. Als wir einmal um 8:30 Uhr den Raum betraten, gab es weder Teller noch Tassen (noch nicht einmal die in Amerika üblichen Pappbecher), sodass es nicht möglich war, einen Kaffee zu trinken. Offensichtlich ist dies der unmotiviert wirkenden Mitarbeiterin nicht aufgefallen. Auf Nachfrage benötigte sie 15 Minuten (!), um Tassen und Becher zu besorgen. Teller gab es allerdings bereits nach gut 10 Minuten.

Expedia me cobro el estacionamiento por adelantado, cuando llego al hotel mi vehículo y que entraba el estacionamiento ( chevrolet, traverse) y expedia indico que no devuelve el costo del estacionamiento qué no use.

Convenient location and friendly staff

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Whenever we had a request or issue they solved it right away. The hotel room was somewhat dated and there were small surfaces that we could tell hadn’t been cleaned/dusted in a long time, like the outlets on the side of the headboard were very dusty. We had to ask the front desk for our room to be cleaned because housekeeping hadn’t come for 2 days. Overall it was fine for what we needed.

Nice rooms and clean

This was our first time going to Ottawa, the Sheraton was like a good location for a reasonable price. We got a room on the 11th floor, unfortunately our view was of a high-rise office building with floor to ceiling windows. The room was nice enough, very good sized and the bed was comfortable. The carpet did not look the cleanest, and the bathroom was quite basic for almost $200 a night. The employees were very friendly and welcoming, they allowed us to check in 2 hours early since our flight arrived early in the day. They also were happy to hold our bags for us on the last day until our flight home, which was really nice. Definitely add the breakfast onto your fee, it’s well worth the added cost. The breakfast serving staff were exceptional, very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. Overall it was a satisfactory experience, considering the price and our length of stay! I would book again.

Bad customer service

The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is well-situated, close to touristic attractions and public transport. I had an excellent stay.

Good location, short walk to parliment and other sights in central Ottawa. Valet parking, but possible to find other options nearby.

they do not have laundry room

It was a horrible experience for our family. The check-in staff and staff in restaurant were nice and polite, apart from this, this hotel just did not fulfill the expectation on Sheraton brand. First, we arrived at the hotel at after 5pm, but the rooms were still not ready to check-in; the staff offered free breakfast for compensation. Next, when we came back to the hotel at night time and prepare to take a bath, there was no hot water supply in the entire hotel, we called the service hotline for help, the staff just replied there was a technical issue, and nothing they can do. We were a family with >80 elderly and a 8 years old kid, since it was quite late already, we cannot find another hotel at that time, the staff just did not provide any help or solution to the issue, we can only took a quick shower. We chose Sheraton hotel since it is a well-known hotel brand, it was ridiculous that this kind of issue happened and there was no solution for the guest. Really feel disappointed with Marriott hotel brand, will not choose any of the brand under Marriott from now on.

The hotel looks old from the outside but extremely welcoming once you enter the hotel lobby. You can smell the distinct "Sheraton Scent" as soon as you enter. Room is clean and there are daily service during my 3 night stays. The fitness room is pretty good, it has towel, water, headset.
