The location was perfect. Walking distance everywhere. The hotel was spotless and the service excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Great place in great location. Bed could be better but everything else really good

This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in in terms of comfort and service. We arrived with lots of bags and no greeting or baggage assistance outside. The inside is extremely tired and old and dark and smells of mold. Our room was at the end of a long corridor which smelled so bad that I had to hold my breath. The room was very large and had two terraces. The room was photographed in a way that it appeared quite lovely. However, the terraces were dirty with dust and dirt and bird droppings. The cushions were dirty. Perhaps the worst thing about the room was the bed. It was extremely large, but was simply a thin mattress on top of what seem to be an army cot. Absolutely no support. Everytime someone moved in the bed. it squeaked so loudly the other person would wake up. I began to sleep with my head where the feet were supposed to be because it seemed to squeak less The sheets were polyester and so scratchy I had to wear socks in the bed. The pillows were not unlike pieces of wood with a pillowcase. They were so hard it was nearly impossible to sleep. The shower was so complicated with yesterday‘s technology that it took two of us to figure out how to make it work. The technology included a radio in the shower, which gives some idea of how old it was. The breakfast room was equally terrible. It was obviously at one time very elegant but that was at least 100 years ago. It was dark and it smelled bad and seemed to be dirty. The breakfast offerings were not appetizing.

An amazing hotel with wonderful architectural details all within walking distance to all the sights

It is a beautiful and elegant hotel. Salvatore, the concierge, makes you feel as though you are the only guest in the hotel. He chose wonderful restaurants for us and was attentive to our every need. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect.

Expecting better ….. room was cold… They said that was government policy not to use heater before 10 th of November … paying 450 dollars a day and freezing .. funny ha ???

Love the Grand. The name is the perfect fit. It’s so Grand. No wonder Hollywood has chosen to use it in so many movies. More importantly the entire staff is so helpful with whatever you may need. Lastly the location is absolutely prefect. Spanish steps. Trevi fountain. Etc

Bed mattress is old, No coffee in room, 24 service is very limited, No tissue in bathroom, Air conditioning questionable Room size is fair, Over rated for values

Just the washroom was very primitive with the shower The closets are very old The TV channels are very confusing to use Breakfast was not as I expected

J'ai eu droit a un acceille très chaleureux du personnel de l'hotel a mon arrivé. Il ont même arranger ma chambre plus tôt que prévus. L'hotel est magnifique, et la terrasse offre une superbe vue sur les quartiers de rome. La chambre fut fantastique et et bien meublé. J'ai adoré mon expérience a cette hotel.

Great location Old room

My wife and I just spent our honeymoon here. The property was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were very kind, courteous, and extremely helpful. The concierge even checked his own wallet when I asked if they could break a €50 and the till didn’t have the right change. The lobby is beautiful, the stunning wide staircase with a lion statue and columns all the way up is breathtaking. Further inside there are painted ceilings, historic artwork, and tasteful furniture. We had drinks brought up to the lemon terrace, filled with lemon trees and strawberry plants, we even saw adorable lizards. The views from the terrace of the Spanish steps and the San Carlo al Corso were fantastic. Our room had two terraces facing Via Del Corso and sitting outside every night with a view of Saint Peter’s Basilica was one of the highlights of every day. The canvas awning over our terrace had a rip in so we didn’t use it, one of the rungs on our curtains was also broken off. Other than that there was nothing wrong with the room at all. It was very hot while we were there in July with temperatures regularly approaching 40 degrees, the ac struggled a bit to cool the room, but we found if we left the doors closed to the sleeping area itself it wasn’t too bad. Just two blocks away you can find dozens of restaurants, a convenience store, pharmacy, and a grocery store not far away either. Close to most main tourist spots. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a central luxury stay.
