The hotel had a strong oder of cigarettes including our room and older rooms But it was a great location

Very good all around

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Old and no updates to rooms for decades.

Comfortable, clean and affordable

It was very conveniently near the airport and met my expectations

Non smoking room smelled of smoke.

Arriving at the hotel, I realized I made a huge mistake in trying to save some money. No elevator for all of my luggage. The property is older and beat up and my room was sketchy feeling like I had been dropped into a weird movie from the 80s.

The hotel is old and a little tired, but clean and staff is great. Their shuttle to airport and mall was great.

Amber from the front desk really helped me. Kudos to Amber!

Your hotel is in need of an upgrade. Not impressed with the overall upkeep of the property. Bathtub was chipped.

Front Desk Lady was excellent although I believe she was under the weather and now Im feeling like I may have caught something. Bad luck I guess.

Staff wasn’t great and you get what you pay for here.

This is an older hotel that was remodeled at some point. It is showing its age again, but, it was convenient to the Airport, a lower price point, and it was clean. If you are planning to fly out of the Portland airport, or flying in, and just need a bed to sleep in for the night - this is a great option. Nothing to get excited about, but a clean room and comfortable bed. Not a hotel to stay at for a vacation or any other reason I can think of, but it works great for convenience to the airport.

Everything looks old, there was a bug in the bathroom. It doesn't look like a hotel anymore, it looks like a motel.

The check in went smoothly and the man and woman at the front desk were kind. however the toilet was stopped up on four occasions and we were forced to unclog the toilet ourselves. I was not offered another room. We were given a plunger and told to unclog the toilet ourselves. I was in town for a funeral and already under a lot of stress i didnt want to accelerate my stress even further. I am extremely disappointed in my stay at red lion and will escalate this further
