Old and tired building. Needs upgrade.

Very helpful staff .Food was good - had dinner there one evening . Breakfast excellent. Nice surroundings , quiet and comfortable room .

Beautiful hall and surroundings. Dinner was excellent. My room was spacious and clean. The staff make this place amazing, they are all so lovely. Solveiga stood out the most, I was lucky enough to have her check me in and out and she is honestly the most wonderful person. I hope she gets the credit she deserves.

Ideal spot for a stopover.

The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. We will definitely stay again when travelling south . Although rooms a little dated, they were very spacious , clean and neutrally decorated, nothing offensive. On the whole we found the hotel great value .

The property was very good and spotless clean ,breakfast and staff outstanding,downside couldn't use the 2 lounges and the outside patio was taken up by private parties shame nowhere for hotel guests to sit

Decent dinner with good help on the gluten free selection 4 extremely good breakfast with really friendly helpful staff 5. Great with the dog 6. Nice garden 7. Great price. We went to attend the funeral of a close friend, the hotel was beautiful with excellent service.

Hotel is a bit tired. Ok for an overnight stay. Nothing special. Paid for a superior suite which evolved to be very noisy from a party in the conference suite.

If hosting an event or wedding this place is probably fine but when you are a tourist it is miles from everything. This hotel is completely rural, you cannot walk to any pubs or restaurants, the town is a 12-15 drive. Staff are great, zero complaints. It is a bar area amd restaurant but the bar lacks charm and atmosphere. Plenty of parking. The rooms are fine but dated and the hotel does not have a lift. If you are planning to tour the general area as a tourist i recommend something closer to town where there is more to do around you
