Good hotel with updated rooms and comfortable beds. The pool area was great, nice sauna. Really helpful staff and ample parking. I would only say that is it a little far from the beach and action of the town. Even though the walking time was not bad, the walking path was only okay. One bad thing: The hair dryer is atrocious so bring your own.

Our room was a unit 228 (double Queen) on the 2nd level with a small balcony looking over the pool area. We had a tree blocking our view, but some might like the privacy. I found the room to be really sound proof for a motel. The updated room was clean and comfortable. The a/c worked well. Staff was friendly. You could have your room made up daily. The fridge, coffee maker and bar sink were nice to have. (A microwave would have been a lovely addition!) We ate dinner next door which was good and enjoyed the pool/ hot tub. Some larger families were on the ground floor playing the yard games and and looked to be having a wonderful time. Parking lot secured by gate. I grew up in Penticton and am familiar with the area. Close enough to the beach, you could take a evening stroll over, but on a hot day with beach gear, I would drive. Next time I might like to book a room facing the golf course for something different.

Wonderful property for multiple families. Pool and spa were so much fun for both the kids and the adults. Fireplace and chairs were a great addition for the evening. Would highly recommend.

Our room was lovely with a view of the bbq / pool area. The pools were amazing. The hot tub and cold plunge were particularly enjoyable and rejuvenating after our 7 hour bike ride along the KVR. The restaurant was convenient and loved the service by the pool. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Balcomo! The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were extremely quiet. The restaurant on site, although not part of the hotel, was delicious. We had several meals there, and it was so nice to walk back to the room. This hotel is within walking distance to the beach as well! Highly recommend this hotel.

This property is chefs kiss, the only downside is the beds are pretty firm.

Beautiful property. Helpful staff. Great room! Pool is perfect for an afternoon with kids. Restaurant selection and kids' menu - thumbs up. They even deliver poolside. Easy holiday! Definitely recommend.

Our stay was wonderful! The property is very well maintained, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had such a great time, and the location was excellent. The only thing we wish had been better was the communication about the amenities. We weren’t informed that complimentary coffee and bottled water were available in the lobby until we checked out, so unfortunately we missed the chance to enjoy them during our stay. Other than that, everything was great. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained property, and we would definitely come back. We will definitely stay here again!
