The two bedroom suite was great; just wish I had been able to stay another night to enjoy it more fully. The staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book this hotel again when I return to the area. I will say it was a little hard to find; there should be a larger sign on route 1.

Rooms feel a little dated and there was still trash in my room from the previous occupant.

Residence Inn so big rooms very comfortable outside entry some nut with the loudest music ever boom boom in car outside room left just in time or turned it off at like 1 am. Dead end access to hotel with parameter parking not sure why an idiot would be doing that.

Upon checking in, my husband and I were greeted by a friendly staff member who thoroughly explained everything we needed to know. Our room was located on the opposite side of the entrance, requiring a short drive and climbing one flight of stairs. The accommodations featured a spacious king-sized bed, full kitchen, sofa, and a fireplace (though it appears to be non-functional for some time), plus a shower-tub combination. The room was immaculately clean, though there was a curious scent reminiscent of insect repellent—which I certainly prefer over encountering any actual pests! The bed provided good comfort, though it was on the firmer side. We appreciated the entertainment options, with access to Netflix on the television. The blackout curtains were particularly impressive, creating a perfectly dark environment when drawn. Breakfast exceeded our expectations with a diverse selection including sausage, oatmeal, waffles, cheese/vegetable omelets, mixed fruits, yogurts, and bagels with various spreads. My only suggestion for improvement would be the omelets, which were slightly overcooked and dry. Overall, our experience was positive, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

I love staying there

Is very clean, staffs are great and very polite.

We stayed for a week while our house was being painted. We opted for a penthouse suite to give us the most room and it was perfect. We had our 2 cats with us and were both working from the room; having the space to spread out was ideal. (The kitties loved the open loft especially!) The furniture and carpet are a little 'tired' and the room smelled of smoke when we first arrived (which quickly dissipated with a little Febreze). The front desk offered to move us but we'd got all our stuff in already; appreciated, nonetheless. That said, we had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning and slept very well. The entire hotel is very quiet! The hotel management were very flexible with us when we first thought we'd only need 4 nights which then turned into 5 and then 7...and even let us check out late. Very friendly and professional. We were also impressed when they called to ask us to move our cars so their plows could completely clear the parking lot after 8" of snow followed by ice fell; most places would have just cleared the driveway only but they took extra care to clear the parking spaces and shovel/ sand the sidewalks as well. The breakfast a nice little perk as well; nothing fancy but lots of selection and the people there were also friendly, helpful and attentive. If we ever need to 'camp out' from our house again, we'd definitely stay again- and will certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Salem area for an extended time.

Older property, but well maintained. Friendly staff, and clean. Only negative was that the fireplace was not working; which would have help heat the main floor. When turning the heat up it made the upper loft area very warm. So we kept the temperature lower and used extra blankets when watching TV, etc.
