Been coming for 30 years. Know good people who still work there. Amenities- little things like complimentary coffee in morning - either diminished or reduced to -0-. Now $7/cup for a fairly poor brew. Someone rang our bell at 7am to find out if we were still in the room (!) - check out is at noon knucklehead! Why not check with the front desk? Rather dismal extremely overpriced room service menu for one grand a night.. When it was Mandarin owned it was great. Been about two owners since with, we suppose, MBA’s wringing out an ever better bottom line. Sad.

Everyone was very courteous. Hotel is immaculate. Very quiet and relaxing.

This place is incredible. There was a problem with my room on arrival and Rakal (sp?) and another lady helped get me to another amazing room quickly. It was 5 star all the way. I will be back. This is my place for Hawaii.

Beautiful resort. Food was phenomenal.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Waited a long time to get our room then to find out the room they were giving us was not the correct one. That was quickly changed and our new room was beautiful. Everyone was super friendly and dinners were excellent.

We haven’t been to this hotel for ten years and it is still as wonderful today as it was then. Simply spectacular place with a first class staff!!

This is a great hotel. But it was very sad to see the dolphins in a tiny pool. Spending their whole lives swimming in circles and posing for photos with tourists. Inhumane and unnecessary.

We stay at the Kahala every year. I absolutely adore the Kahala.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent service. Staff is warm and gracious. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Restaurants are very good. I understand that the rooms are undergoing an upgrade. In line with this, I have to comment on the poor condition of the wicker furniture in our room and in the main lobby. Also, in one of the corridors leading from the lobby the wall covering was starting to peel. I trust that these issues will be addressed.

This was above and beyond what we expected. Very beautiful and comfortable resort, amenities are amazing, the breakfast is wonderful and with multiple options, i would highly recommend and would love to come back any time.
