Professionelles check-in. Sauberes, schönes Zimmer mit etwas wenig Stauraum. Zimmerreinigung sehr gut mit etwas nachlässigem Turndown am Abend. Sehr schöne Aussenräume. Bei Hochsaison etwas wenig Liegen. Leute reservieren Stundenlang Liegestühle ohne da zu sein. Ein Highlight für uns, auch wegen der Ruhe war die Taittinger Bar. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist genial. Mit riesiger Auswahl an lokalen erstklassigen Produkten. Schade muss man sich den Espresso und das Cappucino selber von einer mittelmässigen Maschine holen. Passt nicht zum genialen Buffet. Unter dem Strich ein toller Aufenthalt direkt am Meer mit einigen kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten. Deutlich uber dem was man in Spanien in diesem Niveau bekommt

The best

Because of the massive power outage, our train from Madrid to Malaga was stranded for overnight, we had to hire tax driving to Marbella the next day. We missed the first night of our two days stay. But the hotel people said they didn’t handle the refunds and asked me to make request through agency. Yet the contact person (Mae) told me it depends on the hotel… seems they were kicking the ball?

A beautiful modern beachfront hotel just a 5 min stroll away from Marbella old town. Minor hiccups: at check in they said we’d have complimentary daily half liter water, the next day they said this was just a one off for the first day, then the day after they changed that again. The breakfast buffet is great, but the ham they call “iberico de bellota” is clearly “Serrano” (much cheaper) instead, based on color, texture, lack of marbling, flavor etc

The views from my room were stunning and service was exceptional!

Fabulous upgrade since last I stayed there. Cannot fault hotel or staff who were most helpful and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Only downside of our stay was the weather Will definitely return.

Top Hotel

The hotel is lovely & check-in was very smooth. We did not realise, however, the hotel was closing on the Sunday & although we can appreciate staff looking forward to their holidays, service was quite lax (not unpleasant, just staff were mainly absent, something unexpected from a 5 Star hotel, where in every other area, they excelled) - this was both in the bar, in the restaurant; breakfast service, however, was excellent I do believe if we had known the hotel was closing, we would have changed our booking by one-day, so we were disappointed that a) we were not able to use any of the facilities on the final day (or sit by the pool) & b) the service had slipped It is a beautiful hotel though, in an excellent position, we were just disappointed as we are used to hotels exceeding our expectations

This is a great resort. We stayed 3 nights. We booked a Junior Suite with frontal ocean view and it was totally worth the price. We had a large balcony with its own jacuzzi and a very spacious room with very comfortable bed. Everything at this resort is to notch. The included breakfast was also fabulous and it was served in an indoor/outdoor setting with views of the beach. It was the perfect relaxing way to start each morning.

Terrible customer service in numerous areas such as reception and dining by many staff members. An excessively long wait for the room to be prepared and guests who arrived after us were serviced ahead of us. Certain waiters didn't even provide the special menus we were entitled to due to the level of resources we paid for for.
