Nice hotel, comfortable clean and quiet. Would stay here again!

This hotel is the best by far Professional staff and clean room!

Th hotel was nice and clean. Staff was accommodating. Just a few minor things could have been better. First night we pulled in to check in there were cops at the hotel, someone had been harassing a female and the cops were called, they said it took an hour and a half for them to show up. The air filter to our room was dirty, the drain to the shower got clogged the first day, but they attended to it quickly to fix both. House keeping was great, breakfast was excellent, always had fresh food with variety.

My wife and I needed a one night stay near La Jolla. We chose the Country Inn and Suites based on reviews. The location is very nice and quiet. The hotel itself is a little older but well maintained and clean. Our room was clean and comfortable except for the bed which was a little too firm and should probably be replaced. There's plenty of parking and the free breakfast was excellent and the staff was very courteous.

We enjoyed the overall experience including the pool and breakfast. Thanks to all the kind staff

This is a quiet and neat place to stay. Breakfast is perfect! Even when you just entry the building, the defuser scent is already attractive. Staffs are nice. Fertility is clean too. I’ll come back for sure

Rooms and overall areas were spotless!

We stayed over for just one night and that was all we needed to give this hotel a “2 out of 5 stars”. The over all room was clean and welcoming. The sink and shower was clogged. The sink faucet was loose / broken. So glad the toilet flushed at least. There were no ventilation in the bathroom, feels very suffocated after a hot shower. I totally understand the Occupancy Tax, San Diego Tourism tax, and the California Tourism Tax on the regular room rates. But they also impose all of those taxes on your parking fee. $10 per night plus all of those taxes again just seems illegal for some reason. I did notify the front desk of the bathroom issues upon check out from room 222, but shouldn’t they already know if they clean the rooms daily.

It was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and staff excellent and friendly.

What I love the most was the continental breakfast. This is the best breakfast I have had in any hotel.

Clean room, great breakfast, and good location!

Breakfast can be better. The fitness center is a bit small. But overall is good.

We arrived an hour early from the check in time and we have to wait in the lobby since the front desk personnel said the room is not yet ready (I wonder how true). But anyway, we enjoyed our stay here. The whole premise is clean and has an ample parking outside. We like the location for easy access to freeway which lead to the mall, UCSD and the main road going to dining hub in Mira Mesa. Good size pool and gym. We like the extra security when using the elevator going up, without a room key the elevator will not move. Typical breakfast offered in any other hotels/inns of this caliber. Will definitely book here again when it is time to visit our daughter in the university.

Clean, kind, and convenient.

The hotel was very crowded and you couldn't even use the pool or jacuzzi. Breakfast was so so and not a variety of foods or cereal. We have stayed here a few times but since we are not able to make a reservation without using Hotel.com we have decided that it's time to look for somewhere else that will be more helpful.

Rooms smelled like vomit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family time here. The rooms were clean, the check-in process was smooth, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection.

I always stay here often while working at the San Diego Convention Center.
