Overall the room, pool, and breakfast were very nice. We also enjoyed the saunas.

Only stayed for one night but staff were very friendly and happy to help us. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked

We had a lovely four night stay. The staff are all amazing, very polite and helpful. The room was very big with a comfortable bed and sofa bed. Both room and bathroom were very clean and cleaners came in every day and changed towels, made beds etc. The breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. I especially loved the pastries. The leisure centre/pool was fantastic. Very clean and lovely staff. I would be very happy to stay at this hotel again.

This is the second time at this hotel and it just delivers. Lovely breakfast, great facilities like the pool and sauna and comfy room. Certainly will book again if we are visiting Gloucester which says it all.

We booked three nightsin advance months before visit. On arrival we were told that our chosen class of room was unavailable. No excuse given other than the hotel was busy. We did however get the room we booked on our second night. Staff were friendly and hotel good. If we did not have the issue of the the room availability I would have rated the hotel higher. The reservation system let us down it is not good enough.

The hotel was very busy. We had dinner in the restaurant. Julie was fabulous and extremely busy, but still took time with us. Food and service was excellent. Lots of parking. Nice bright restaurant. Breakfast was excellent.

Lovely overall hotel, good location for the rugby stadium Tom Jones gig. Comfortable room, nice pool and friendly reception. Let down by a truely awful breakfast experiance - everything ran out (including the 2 coffee machines!) staff not supervised, absolute chaos.

The room was clean, and breakfast offered a wide variety. The staff was helpful, and the spa and swimming pool were well kept. I would go there again.

The staff went above and made you feel very welcome. Shaun in the restaurant was excellent, sorting out my wife gluten free diet.

It was the best holiday Inn we have stayed in and we have stayed in a fair few Highly recommend a bacon roll so much bacon yum yum.

On arrival was hit by the very pleasant aroma in the reception area. It would be nice if the hallways & rooms smelt like this. Breakfast very good . Bar prices very expensive. Over £20 for a beer & large glass of wine. I understand why others were popping to nearby shop .

The room was cold . The resturant was cold and didnt stop for puddibg because me and my partner was cold. Service was sloe in resturant . I coudnt get hot water for a bath and 1 towel for 2 people . The compumentry fridge for snacks and drinks was disappointing .

Nice stay. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Pastries were stale though. Room was great, quiet. Always sleep well at holiday inn!

Whilst a little out of town this is a great place for a north/south stopover. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts in a while, compared to many a higher end hotel chain. Tasty, hot (most important) and good quality.
