This hotel was a fantastic blend of modern features and old-school touches. It was very easy to walk to tourist sites and the train station. All employees were friendly and I felt very safe there as a solo female traveler.

Everything about the hotel was great

Great location. Rooms are just ok. Has everything you need but dark and feel dated. Bathroom is large and nice. Great breakfast!

We loved the beautiful decor. Our room was very spacious with high ceilings. The front dest staff were all very helpful and arranged box lunches for us our two early days. The dining area was extremely pretty and the breakfasr was excellent.

Everything was lovely and loved the cute little candy bag to put on the door when you choose to skip housekeeping for a day.

Fantastisk hotel i gennemført gammeldags stil. Tæt på Kraków’s bymidte og alligevel stille og roligt. Favorit til næste besøg i Krakow.

The structure and decor of the property is sublime. We had a deluxe room with a sitting room, gorgeous bedroom, huge and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was exquisite. Fixtures and decor throughout gave an air of class and luxury from bygone times. The dining room was very nice with a good choice of breakfast foods. The only let down was the quite poor service from what appeared to be young, inexperienced, untrained male receptionists. The female receptionist who greeted us on arrival was the opposite - helpful, friendly and professional. The others seemed to lack customer care and were ineffective when a couple of things went wrong. Their manner and problem solving traits were not quite there. There was also an issue with housekeeping who tried to charge us for mini bar items that we hadn't used - they had just forgot to replace items from the previous day so had assumed we had used the items twice. Apart from that this is a lovely hotel.

Hôtel was in a great location. Excellent breakfast. Room was a bit dates.

The hotel staff customer service was excellent. The room is spaceous. The only complaint is the shower getting shower can be dangerous with high difference when step out of the shower. There are no handle if someone is older or have mobility problem. The breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Good quality selection with individual order option. Great hotel. 5 star !!

What a hotel! Absolutely beautiful and clean. Large bedroom suite. Huge bathroom with quality decor. Breakfast food was cooked and presented like a Michelin * restaurant. Also a help yourself buffet with quality food and added little patisserie mini desserts. I could go on and on. So clean. Great staff.

Flott hotell og nydelig frokost. Resepsjonen var flinke til og hjelpe til med bestilling av utflukter. Flinke folk på jobb. Dessverre ble det en del vann på Badet når en dusja. Men de ordner opp.

A beautiful hotel in Krakow Old Town, the rooms or should I say suite was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice. The staff were very helpful. If you are driving, you can leave your keys at the reception and they will park it for you (for a charge), this was really worthwhile and took away any parking stress. The hotel was well situated for exploring Krakow on foot and there were many nice restaurants and cocktail bars nearby.

This hotel is in perfect location to explore Krakow old tiwn, as well as Kazimierz, the Jewish district. It is very centrally located, however on a quiet street. It has a lot of character; it is an old hotel with lots of history, grandiose staircase and charming patisserie. It is also very clean everywhere. Service is excellent. The hairdryer was missing from the room and they apologized and immediately brought it to my room. There is a very small gym at the attic with a treadmill, spinning bike, elastic bands, two mats and some weights; it was enough for me. I would recommend this hotel if you enjoy historical places to stay in.

Excellent weekend getaway at Hotel Francuski with incredible staff (particular shout out to the young guy on reception who checked us in, forgotten his name but it begins with an M!) Staff all had great English and were very accommodating with any questions we had and even called up restaurants to check
