Great location, great staff, great breakfast

Das grosse Plus des Hotels ist die Nähe zum Bahnhof sowie Bus und Tram. Auch die Innenstadt mit den Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt in guter Gehdistanz. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, jedoch hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt mit Stadtmauer und Palais des Papes. Der Frühstücksraum war ebenfalls mit Aussicht Richtung Stadt. Das Buffet war reichlich und liess für uns keine Wünsche offen. Das Hotelpersonal war durchwegs freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Au regret d'avoir été gênée par l'odeur de tabac (?!) dans la chambre (non fumeur...) malgré le prêt bien aimable par le réceptionniste (en tout point arrangeant et serviable) d'une machine pour purifier l'air. Encore plus au regret d'avoir été gênée toute la nuit par le bruit de l'ascenseur (chambre 324) qui m'a privée de deux nuits de sommeil réparateur. J'ai quitté l'hôtel ce matin exténuée. Je n'y retournerai pas.

None of the staff understands English and they are not friendly,worst group of staff but location is great

Our stay here was fine except for difficulty parking. Very close to the train station, that is convenient.

Dirty outside the front door. Terrible signs directing you to the front door, which Is hidden. The shower water pressure fluctuated when the neighbour flushed the toilet. So you’re in the Shower getting cold blast of water. Breakfast was expensive with low quality food.

Was ok but there were construction around taxis were not able to get to the front door

Nice little cheap place for a short stay. Great location from Avignon Centre Station and easy walking distance to all the sites and restaurants.

Idéal pour poser ses valises en sortant de la gare avant d'aller découvrir la ville. Excellente literie.

A fuir car ne vaut pas mieux qu'un ibis budget, réservation effectuée par le biais d'hôtel.com pour 2 adultes et 1 enfant avec petits déjeuners compris et parking disponible. Résultat à l'arrivée on nous réclame le paiement des petits déjeuners pour notre fille car problème technique venant d'hôtel.com qui ne comprend finalement pas ses repas et parking payant de la gare 50€ du samedi 17h au lundi 11h avec remboursement de 20% de la part d'ibis sur la facture, résultat nous présentons le ticket de caisse du parking et ibis refuse de nous rembourser les 20% car il fallait leur présenter le ticket avant d'aller payer pour appliquer la réduction. Un système de fonctionnement à s'arracher les cheveux. Résultat une facture qui s'élève à 64 euros de plus que les 223€ initialement prévus sans parler de la taille de la chambre très petite, lit pour enfant juste une banquette avec sur matelas et clim ne fonctionnait pas. Seules choses positives de notre séjour : la propreté, la diversité du buffet des petits déjeuner et établissement bien insonorisé.

Fantastic stay at Avignon Centre Gare hotel. Very central location, room was clean and well appointed. Parking was easy and next to hotel. Room was quiet and we had a lovely nights sleep. Would recommend.

The hotel has everything as expected from Ibis. Staff was VERY nice and helpful. The parking is safe in a covered garage adjacent to the hotel. The only thing is the entrance was a bit hard to find because google doesn’t know it. My only complaint is that the property advertised laundry as an amenity but there is no laundry in the building. Otherwise, I would go back.

Zimmer war extrem klein, wir waren zu dritt. Da es aber eine Notunterkunft war und wir wirklich nur zum schlafen da waren, war es ok. Direkt am Bahnhof, gut gelegen.

I had a problem with the key card to my room. It just wouldn’t work to open my room. Three times I went politely to reception to beg to be let into my room. I think it was a defective card, because when I finally got a second card, on my fourth complaint, that worked fine. The impression I got was that the reception staff couldn’t be bothered. When I arrived and asked if I could leave my bags as my room wasn’t ready, she brought out one label then huffed and puffed when she discovered I wanted to leave 3 items for the day. What is wrong with asking first? When I returned in the evening, it was a different person on reception, so naturally only the suitcase with the label appeared and I had to explain politely 4 times I had two other bags. Re breakfasts, get there early if you want orange juice or croissants. Because there weren’t any left when I arrived at 9.30 on Sunday. And the choice is very limited. The bread also runs out, so you’re left with scraps of baguettes if you aren’t there early c and I couldn’t find good old tap water anywhere. The hotel is in a good spot next to the station if you’re using Avignon as a base to explore, although it’s not currently easy to get into as workmen have put up barriers all round the front of the station area. Overall, could have been much better if staff were a little bit more attentive.
