Dining- Poor food handling and/or preparation. We decided to dine at the Saltida (dinner buffet) and as a result we both suffered from a fairly violent food poisoning.
It was necessary to extend an extra day as there was just no way we would be able to physically fly out the next day. In addition to this, communication between management and front desk was near to non existent. The hotel did compensate for the meal but made no effort/offer to cover the extra night stay, despite the fact that their restaurant was at fault. I must recognize the restaurant manager as he was the only individual that checked on us and provided water/fruit.
