I was charged for parking when checking out and when I went to leave parking garage I had to pay again. I have sent the receipt to the email that was given and have not heard back???

J'ai déjà séjourné à cet hôtel il y a quelques années et c'est pour cette saison que j'y suis retournée. Malheureusement, le service de valet pour la voiture et les valises n'est plus disponible, ainsi que l'atmosphère écossaise qu'on y retrouvait. Probable que l'établissement a changé de propriétaire depuis. La chambre était propre et le personnel de la réception très serviable. Le déjeuner n'est pas inclus mais un petit resto opère à l'intérieur de l'hôtel et le personnel est charmant.

Enjoyed our week at The Barrington. Excellent hotel and I liked that it was close to many attractions. You could either walk or take the bus.

Beds were comfy but quite dated and a challenging location to find food if arriving early evening. Most bfs close by 8 and Doors lock at 930. Staff were great though.

The restaurant on site had a good breakfast. Otherwise would never stay here again. Old and outdated with less then helpful staff and parking is an absolute joke when it is a crazy scavenger hunt to find your way to the hotel and then elevators and escalators out of service. Thank god we were able bodied. Never would I recommend to anyone to stay here!

I have stayed at this hotel before so I knew what to expect. The location is great. Close to the Waterfront and restaurants. I didn't try the restaurant but it looked nice and it was busy with customers which is a good sign. My only negative would be the decor. It is an older hotel and it hasn't been updated in many years. However the price was reasonable for the location. It was a deal compared to the other newer hotels in the area. The person checking us in did his job but didn't go out of his way to make us feel welcome. The ladies working at the front desk at check-out was very helpful and friendly to us and the other guests in the lobby.

loved the location and the restaurant and gym attached, however, I found the rooms a little outdated , some of the furniture was old and stained,,and it smelt sort of damp and musty when we first got there and we were unable to change a room or see another room, but after we ran the air conditioner for a day. It seemed to dry out a bit.

Location was fantastic but the rooms are not updated at all. There were bloody boogers all over the walls in the rooms and the room smelt. I hope they redo and deep clean the rooms because there is a lot of potential.

Great location!

It was a clean hotel and good location, rooms are slightly outdated and could use cosmetic work. We experienced loud ventilation and some noise from other rooms. Pool area was quite small. Overall nice and clean.

Clean and staff were helpful

This is a fine hotel. It’s very dated, but they keep it clean. Great location. The main issue is that it’s definitely overpriced for what it is.

The room was quite claustrophobic, but the lobby was nice and had lots of space to hang out. The gym was very very hot, but my kid and I enjoyed the small pool. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but we did get takeout breakfast to eat in the lobby, and it was quite good and reasonably priced.

Rooms definitely need updating…from furniture to beds to bathroom. Hotel is well situated minutes walking to boardwalk, La Citadel, ferry, casino etc. We walked to everything and more.

Nice hotel in the downtown area, walkable to the Wharf and to restaurants Rooms and bathroom are dated, and the walk to the parking structure was long

the only thing I really liked was the location of the hotel I don't like your house keeping policy that you don't clean rooms everyday Your staff can't give advise on where to go in the area when the staff cleans they do a good job the restaurant on the premises was the worst experience I've ever had staff was unprofessional and not friendly our order was taking so long that the waitress came over and asked if we still wanted it

Great location, but needs some major upgrades. The AC was not working and being on the 3rd floor it was so hot in the room. The pool was murky and the floor around it was dirty. The hot tub looked to be filled in with concrete and the sauna was broken, even though there wasn't a sign saying so. The staff wasn't the most friendly. I wouldn't recommend unless there is nothing available in the area.

The hotel was ok. Staff were helpful. The rooms are not very noise isolated. The sauna in the men's changing room in the gym complex needs some maintenance as it doesn't work.
