Th room was fine. The staff were fine. I didn’t appreciate a paper and pen being pushed towards me for tips for every tiny thing. For a continental breakfast you serve yourself. When a lady grabbed an apple juice from under the counter for me and was charged $4.20 and then pushed a paper and pen at me for a tip. Ridiculous.

Overall = great. Speedy and secure elevators. Options for dining or drinks ($15 voucher was great). Rooms were darn good for the age of the building. Decently quiet. Breakfast was better than most. Negatives = sheets were surprisingly loud and caused 3 of 4 to be restless. Multiple large events meant having to park in dark overflow parking the first night. I was surprised my catalytic converter was still there in the morning. With the events came the chance for my kids to see prostitutes for the first time. No microwave in the room was a surprise.

As always the Carriage House Hotel was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Staff welcoming and friendly. This hotel is one of my favourites to stay at in Calgary.

Excellent customer service as always! I accidentally booked a room with only 1 bed. Needed two beds so me and my sister didn't have to snuggle lol! Cindy and staff upgraded us to a two bed at no additional cost.

Everything was good

Absolutely everything was perfect!

In spite of the hotel being about 60 years old, our room was newly renovated with comfortable amenities. The HVAC system was another matter. Our initial room's temperature was super hot and could not be controlled by the wall thermostat for night sleeping. We asked to be moved. Our second room was cooler for night but was slow to warm up in the morning. The hot water supply had an exceptionally high temperature and could easily result in burns to anyone who wasn't careful. The HVAC, hot water system requires some serious attention. Aside from the foregoing our stay and supplied breakfast was enjoyable.

Excellent place! My father stayed there when weather cancelled his flight. The hotel staff helped my 85 year old father and were amazing to him. They got him to his room and were so kind. Thank you!!!!
