This property was close to the train station so it was a little loud. The shuttle service was very good.

Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!

The room has no couch, coffee table, desk chair, coffee maker, the refrigerator was a micro, and the nightstands seem like their missing something. Additionally, I completed the online check in and had to repeat everything again when I got to the hotel because none of what I did online transferred over to the system in the hotel. The entire room was not worth the $440 I spent on it, I will advise others to not stay here at these rates for these sub-par accommodations.

Would have been better with an chair or two in the room. Window latch broken so couldn’t lock it. We were at ground level. Found a piece of PVC left in the room to use as a stop.

The service was done well considering the understaffing. I had been frustrated not being able to communicate with the front desk before we checked in with some questions. When we arrived I understood why. The front desk was dealing with difficult customers with kindness and clarity. The line was out the door with people trying to check in. One person was at the desk trying to manage, her demeanor was pleasant and kind. A second person came to work during the time we were in line. She was friendly as well. The employees were great. The cleanliness was great. The state of the hotel was not good. Maybe I’m spoiled by the other Wyndham hotels I’ve stayed at, but I expected a Wyndham/Wingate to be kept in good condition. This property, the room, the bathroom, all in disrepair. There was a crack in the bathtub. The curtains didn’t cover all the light in a place the sun never goes down. The paint and walls, doors, windows… looked very rough.

This extremely dated and dirty hotel couldn't even offer a bottle of water for a $400 overnight room. We checked in after 11 and out by 4am, not even a bottle of water. Ridiculous.

few things were not clean. when asked for towels that was not as normal.

Our room was canceled while we were on the airplane going to Anchorage. Got in at 1:30 am finding out they gave our room away. No explaination just sorry

I paid for a king suite but got 2 queen beds without the front desk saying anything to me or my wife about the change. I even checked in online the day before. No coffee maker in the rooms, and no decaf coffee on the motel at all. MY WIFE CAN’T DRINK REGULAR COFFEE. Breakfast was substandard. When paying over $300.00 for 1 night, this is unacceptable!!

Bare bones room with nothing in the area

Excellent room space. The front desk was very helpful!

The room we were given was furnished with a king size bed, TV and stand, desk with lamp that did no work, ottoman, poor condition refrigerator and microwave, and a student chair. We requested another room. Desk rep. stated all rooms the are the same because they are waiting for the furniture to be delivered. This is unacceptable for $385+ dollars accommodations.

Broken door, saggy shower, awful breakfast. Noise, street people in parking area at 0500 as we left. Egress door to the back was bolted shut.Fire hazard! Anything they could do to cut corners in a cheap, terrible hotel they did and it was an expensive stud for us.

This place was horribly run down and dirty

Absolutely would not recommend. The single staff told us and four other groups that we had to wait till 1:00 (Half an hour later) to check in. We all sat and waited and at 12:52 an old man and group of 7 came in wanting to purchase rooms etc. the staff told him he had to wait and he decided to stand there for the 8 minutes. He cut everyone in line and the staff said nothing about it. When we got to the room the microwave didn’t work, the window had no latch, there was little to no furniture and the bathroom stunk. When we checked out we didn’t get a thank you or any acknowledgement. We tried to get a refund and they refused. The pool was freezing and Also smelt like sewage. Would not recommend.

Not clean

Staff could of been friendlier. They looked stressed. Chico the night staff was nice. Surprised the hotel was open since they were doing major construction and renovation throughout the hotel. The breakfast was nice but one time the staff person in kitchen I guess did not show up so all we had was cereal and yogurt and drinks available. Also theconstruction put dust all over.

The property was littered with trash upon pulling up. They had an old small bus with completely rotting tires sitting in the parking lot. Presumably it was used for airport shuttles. It was totally inoperable now. The lobby was ok, but upon stepping into the elevator, it was clear this was never touched. It was dirty and the carpeting stunk. Our room was old, and in need of updating. The secondary lock on our tour was broken and the screws were stripped. I sent several messages about this during our stay and never heard back. The location was “ok,” but very close to train tracks and all that this entails along with all of the noise from people fishing on the river all night. We will not be back.
