Beds were really comfortable. Fridge , microwave and coffee maker in the room . You could hear every little sound from the hallway. Complementary breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Bathroom unfortunately was cramped. Toilet was really low to the ground. Bathtub was very slippery and if they don’t want someone falling and suing them I would suggest they put some anti slip on it sooner rather then later. Overall a good experience for the cost.

Overall, everything was good. However, the hotel was undergoing interior renovations, which made some facilities unavailable. In addition, there were scratching noises in the room, as if a mouse or something else was inside the walls, which made it difficult to sleep.

The rooms have been upgraded, the beds were comfy and the room was clean. Breakfast was hot but a bit bland. We never used the pool.

A perfect place to stay away from the downtown core of Halifax….great staff, easy parking, clean & renovated, and a delicious breakfast every morning.

The hashbrowns and sausages were so dry they seemed day old and two mornings in a row i had shells in my scrambled eggs. Everything would have been excellent if it wasnt for this.

Breakfast was great! Kitchen staff particularly the one younger girl topping up eggs, hash browns and nuts went out of her way to greet each and everyone present. She was wearing a head scarf and was most pleasant !!

The room we got upgraded to had a spectacula view of the bay with cargo ships and trains going by (still super quiet). Clean, staff are friendly and the breakfast was nice. We didn’t get to use the pool but it’s a nice touch. Lots of renovations happening currently to keep it modern

Excellent location. 15 minutes from downtown. Attentive service, comfortable bed, mini fridge microwave and coffee maker in the room were appreciated. They were just finishing a renovation. Impressive breakfast included.

Great location. Breakfast wasn’t great and the building was undergoing renovations so some of the areas where missing carpet and the sounds were loud at times.

The initial staff that was there at check in was amazing. Such great costumer service and so friendly. The staff that followed her shift was nice as well. The 2 desk staff that followed those shifts were just on their phones their entire shifts trying to hide them quickly when people walked by and weren’t as friendly or helpful. The hotel was under renovation so it wasn’t a pretty site but we were upgraded to a drive up room without asking free of charge which was nice. We found breakfast to be bland and didn’t retain heat in the pans so definitely not the best breakfast we’ve had compared to other comfort inns. At check out there wasn’t a staff to be found for a long time and we were in a rush to get to a competition so we had to hand our keys to the kitchen staff and hope for the best. Our bathroom sink didn’t drain at all. Otherwise I’d say the stay was pretty unremarkable but that first front desk clerk at check out really did have great customer service.
