Building and hotel were great. Very impressive. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and great services. Outdoor pool was very clean and warm with the weather. Breakfast seemed a bit unorganized. Bar was well stocked. Parking for guest was very limited and the parking lot was very small.

Breakfast was very good, quality products used. The pool area and other amenities are dated. Pool staff didn’t bother removing left towels from beds so you don’t know if someone left them or keeping the bed occupied. Air con in our room was working perfectly, mind that we visited during the heat wave with over 31 degrees.

Fantastic location with great views out over the beaches. Close amenities such as restaurants, shops, beach etc. Outdoor pool is lovely again with views out to see. Delicious breakfast with good selection of food. Helpful staff. Limited parking but does have EV chargers. Highly recommended

Great location…but car parking limited due to ongoing building works

Great selection at breakfast, amazing views clean modern bedrooms and bathrooms.

We literally can't wait to go back. The location is absolutely perfect, the pool is awesome and the staff really lovely. The only thing that detracts is the 4pm check in which they seem to stick to, very rigidly. (Though our visit was during the heatwave of June so understandable if the rooms were taking longer to get ready). The cottage we stayed in was gorgeous and the complimentary minibar a lovely touch.

In general a lovely experience however if you want breakfast and haven’t booked it as part of the room make sure it order it when you check in for all the nights you are there. It’s also cheaper. Unfortunately we only wanted it for the second morning and went to book it the night before only to be told we couldn’t, we weren’t told that by reception staff when we checked in that you had to book for all the nights you were staying. Consequently they missed out on our money which we spent elsewhere.

Beautiful room with views of Bournemouth pier

I stayed at the Highcliff Marriott Hotel in Bournemouth and I loved it. The staff were very helpful and courteous, my seaview room was great and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning as soon as I can.

Super location and rooms with a sea view were lovely.

The room was very clean and spacious. The layout of the hotel is a bit odd, with us having to walk across the back parking lot to access the wing our room was in. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for the beach and pier, with one of the public lifts located right outside the front, which takes you down the cliff for a small fee. We did have one oddity, upon check-in our room wasn’t ready, so I took my 3 year old to the pool while we waited, but was told we weren’t allowed to access it until our room was ready… I have stayed at hotels all over the world and never heard of not being able to access the hotel amenities on the day of check-in. This was quite annoying. All in all it was a nice little getaway, just not as accommodating as other hotels I have been to, especially in the Marriott family, I would have expected better.

We booked the hotel for a short break for our 10th wedding anniversary. The room exceeded our expectations and it looked much better then the pictures online. The restaurant was excellent, so was the outdoor swimming pool. The only thing that wasn't great was a corporate party taking place underneath our room which we were not told about at the point of booking. When I called reception I was told the party would finish at 23.00 which it didn't. When we called again we were told it would finish at midnight and it did. When you pay for a premium stay you expect a premium stay and unfortunately it did not deliver across the board. It is a shame as the facilities and staff were excellent.

The property is out dated needing a new coat of paint and updating the furniture and decor in General.parking one's car is a nightmare as the parking is run by a company not linked to the hotel The luch bar food was very bad and over price ,I had a beef baguette which was tough and unapetising, the food in the evenig was very good I understand the catering is run by a different company called BLANC which sounds French however it is inconvenient to have to pay eachtime you went to a catering outlet as usually the bill is put to your room to settle at the end of your stay the service staff is very willing but short in numbers and untrained with no supervision I had a drink in the bar and was constantily disturbed by noises of empting bottles being bined The reception staff were the only one looking professionel and helpfull the restaurant staff had no uniform ad looked rather shaby Prices are very high for what you get and I would not recommend the hotel however the view over the sea was spectacular Alain Belment

Bra hotell på fin lokasjon. Noe slitt noen steder men det er et hotell med sjarm.

The standard of dining in Bournemouth overall is low. Considering that the hotel rates on 3 stars.
