Clean and comfortable, filled all our needs

Welcomed by very friendly staff who were accommodating to our early arrival and very impressed by the room cleanliness. Would absolutely stay again.

Clean room

Beds are really comfortable. Room is clean on entry. Staff is wonderful & very considerate 😊 I'll continually choose to stay here because of it's location as well.

Quiet, clean and comfortable.

A last minute booking due to an unexpected hospital stay, so i turned up late looking like a homeless person in a sling and multiple dressings and a shopping bag with a few belongings in. I was very warmly greeted at reception. Wonderful manager. I was lucky to get the last room.which was very nice. Very clean and fresh smelling, bed was awesome after 3 nights in hospital. Much needed rest, next morning was warmly greeted by the same manager, he took my key so i didn't need to walk to reception,asked if i needed an Uber or taxi. But i had a lift coming who had to travel a long distance. He said i could sit and wait in a comfy chair and even gave me a cold bottle of water. Great service, will definitely be returning for a recreational stay. Thank you

Confortable beds

Have stayed here previously and also at a lot of Motels in Mackay I must say the improvements at this property are exceptional Room was in impeccable condition spotless, bed very good and staff extremely friendly Well worth a visit!!!

We stayed for one night at the Marco Polo when passing through Mackay and were pleased with our room. Undercover parking at our front door was good and our room was a good size. The room clean with a comfortable bed and a table and chairs. Everything was in working condition. It's a little out of town but there are some eateries a short drive away. We would stay here again if in Mackay and we do recommend the motel to other travellers.

Lovely owner, very welcoming on arrival.. Would stay here again if travelling through. Clean room with extra comfy bed and pillows... Had a sleep in this morning and missed out on hot water for my shower but I guess the neighbours enjoyed their hot showers!!!

Beds was super comfy. Spa deluxe room which we couldnt use as there wasnt a plug and the silicone around the bath was very unappealing , dirty and stains in bath.

Great overnight stay. The Itslian restaurant on site is booked way in advance , book ahead or you are eating in town . The room was great value for what I paid. Staff were awesome.

Room spacious clean

You're on a main road with passing traffic and sitting on an aircraft flight approach pattern. Noise is always going to be a slight issue at that address. And... Your room curtains in No. 30 need attention but otherwise, all good.

Very noisy, no hot water, tepid at best. No housekeeping,we were responsible for attaining our own clean towels, emptying bins etc. Staff were very friendly though

Missing the small details which you take for granted at all other motels. Staff were lovely but given the amount of other options in the area, I wouldn’t stay here again.
