Schönes Haus, super Empfang, sauber, gut gelegen zum Bahnhof und zur Altstadt, nur die Belüftungsanlage im Fussboden konnte schlecht reguliert werden

Beautiful boutique hotel centrally located

I saw a rat in the hotel kitchen downstairs. That completely threw me off. I didn’t feel like I was sleeping in a clean hotel anymore.

Beautiful boutique hotel but third floor in the third house with slanted low ceiling was a challenge even with carry on luggage alone.

A classic 1800’s inn! Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Staff are professional and congenial. A perfect location to walk to the waterfront and restaurants. Highly recommended!!

This property has 3 buildings, beautifully restored historical sites. We were in the one farthest from the main site. We booked the last room, in the basement with some trepidation. There are (non-opening) windows, so there is light. The room was spacious, but had a double bed. The first night there was an overpowering musty odour. There was no visible mold. There was a dehumidifier in the hallway. It did a good job in clearing out the musty odour in the hallway & our room on the 2nd day. The hotel management would be well served to run the dehumidifier in the basement rooms before guests arrive, as the door is very off-putting.

Great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

The location is so perfect. Close to everything and walkable to the boardwalk restaurants grocery and tourist sites. Had a wonderful stay there for 3 nights.

Such a great place to stay - very helpful staff , room was delightful and hotel within walking distance of the waterfront , neighborhood felt very safe . Wonderful experience:)

This historic property is well maintained! The patio and library were perfect for happy hour. It is an easy walk downtown.

Really enjoyed staying at The Halliburton. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely courtyard/garden to relax in. The location was great for walking to the waterfront and exploring Halifax.
