Hotel très sympa sur le côté de la Cathédrale. Personnel très sympathique. Très propre. Belle deco, sobre et cosy. Bel endroit pour visiter Strasbourg.

We loved our stay. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the staff members were super helpful. The location was amazing—right by the cathedral. The only suggestion I could make would be to have at least one English speaking tv news channel available. I don’t go on vacation to watch English news and my French isn’t bad so of course it wasn’t a big deal, but in such a tourist spot it surprised me. It would’ve been nice when we were riding out the heat wave and talking a break from the sun midday. But I’d be happy to stay here again.

Loved everything about this hotel!!! Perfect location right in the heart of Strasbourg - just steps away from the Cathedral! Rooms were quite spacious and very clean. Loved that they included coffee/tea maker. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked great from what we saw. Would definitely stay here again!

Impossible to beat the location just a few metres from the amazing Notre Dame Cathedral and surrounding cafes etc. Comfortable room and bed but noisy air conditioning. Overall a great place to stay.

We appreciated the luggage storage and use of restrooms before our check in time. Also the free water in the lobby area. The soaps and lotions in the room were nice. And the location was the absolute best. We could walk to everything we wanted to do our see in minutes. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

Very quaint hotel and excellent location. The showers could be cleaner as the walls felt slimy.

A bit of a walk from the train station but quite do-able by tram or taxi, Hotel Rohan was well worth the effort. Locted mere meters from the Cathedral and central to the Grand Isle area, the hotel itself is a charming refuge from the throngs of visitors.

😀 Die Lage in der Fußgängerzone ist fantastisch. In ein paar Schritten ist man bei der Kathedrale. In der Nähe liegt auch das relativ günstige Parkhaus Austerlitz. Man kann die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen. An der Reception gibt es einen Wasserspender und auf den Zimmern hat es eine Glasflasche, die immer wieder gefüllt werden kann. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. 🙁Leider ließ die Sauberkeit in unserem Zimmer sehr zu wünschen übrig. Im Bad waren Wände und Türrahmen komplett verschmutzt. Ebenso sah es im Gang aus. Hätte ich die Matratze vor dem Abreisetag gesehen, hätte ich ein anderes Zimmer verlangt. Auch die öffentlichen Toiletten bei der Reception sollte man öfter reinigen. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht genommen, daher kann ich nichts dazu sagen.

Great

The hotel is located right by the cathedral on a very busy and touristy town square. It’s close to all types a restaurants and shopping. Very quick walk to petit France area as well. The basic room we stayed in was cleaned daily and had decent space and big French windows that let in a spectacular breeze. Because of the proximity to the cathedral you will hear church bells often! Breakfast was nice. Overall a very nice hotel with friendly staff and pretty quiet despite how much traffic is around it.

I picked the hotel due to the name (LOTR triggered!) then saw how reasonable the price was and booked. Did a little research and wow! what a location! I arrived quite late due to the flight times and the staff could not have been more attentive or helpful. Several times they courteously and patiently assisted me during my stay with directions for trams and recommendations. The housekeeping crew were excellent and unobtrusive, and the reception were absolutely delightful, nothing too much trouble for the flustered and obviously English tourist. I am hoping to come again next year - cant wait!

Location, staff and breakfast were all riveted stars. The major issue I have is with the shower. It is not easy to enter and turn on the water and has no safety features. i would not recommend for anyone with a disabilty.
