Good hotel in a decent area

The bed was uncomfortable. The fitted sheet was nubby so much so I slept in leggings because it aggravated my skin. The pillows were very flimsy. I took all four pillows on the bed to get the plushness of one. The bathroom was so small that you had to stand. Grind the toilet to close the door. I regret staying here and would not recommend it.

For a Hyatt, I expected a lot more in terms of quality. I stated this particular one about 10 years ago and it has definitely gone down hill. Will not revisit.

Incorrect accommodations provided. Booked room with 2 double beds and sofa. Received 1 king bed and sofa. Sofa bed was disgusting.

Very large rooms that were clean and very comfortable. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. We enjoyed our visit and will stay again in a couple of weeks when we return to the Birmingham/Hoover area.

It’s very clear that the hotel doesn’t read these reviews, so definitely save your money and stay somewhere else. The hotel wasn’t just dated—it was nasty. Dead roach in the hallway, dirt and hair all over the floors, shower, toilet. The sheets were stained and extremely worn. Pretty sure Hyatt has the ability to splurge on clean linens. Like seriously, this location needs to close. And to top everything off, we left with either flea or bedbug bites. Absolutely disgusting.

Need to upgrade the bedrooms, to make more space. 3 people in a room with only one sink not ideal.

The desk employee was very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are nice and hotel was quiet. Nice location with many options surrounding the area.

Staff was amazing. Place was clean and we will be back.

They didn't have the double room that i reserved. Son had to sleep on sofa sleeper. Not happy.

The staff was very nice & helpful. There are many deferred maintenance items. Outside it looks quite nice. Inside it needs a l9t of minor repairs. Breakfast inconsistent. No clean rowels or water in fitness center. First room i got was missing minifrig, just a gaping hole w damaged cabinet.

The only thing I can say that is negative was the breakfast wasn’t Very good no eggs no bacon just sausage and some pancake balls was the only hot items
