We loved the River Street Inn. Such a beautiful place.

The hotel has character and the location is great. Limited parking and up charges make the stay less pleasant.

First time to Savannah and we’re ready to come back. We stayed on the riverfront in a historic hotel right before a big weekend. Had we been able to book it for three days? We might still be there, but in the meantime, went ahead and booked a carriage house. Staff was amazing from the valet parking to the hospitality extraordinaire. I wish I would’ve gotten the ladies name. She gave us such a great welcome. And a woman the next day at the lobby desk was so very helpful in pointing out where Lucas theater was and how walkable the area was.. we will be returning !

Everything was great

Wonderful spot to stay. Unique rooms, cooling ceiling fans, friendly staff, excellent location to walk amongst other vacationers and explore shops and restaurants.

Really expensive to park for several days

Upon arrival, we were given a glass of champagne. A bottle of champagne and balloons welcomed us into our room. The staff was very attentive. We enjoyed the managers reception daily. Brad, the bartender, was awesome. He was polite, personable, and very efficient. River Street Inn is perfection. Wonderful stay!!!!!

Situated right in the historic district of Savannah very beautiful right along the riverfront. Easy to walk to shopping and dining. Beautiful hotel.

The main dining option was good but did not take cash, which made it inconvenient. I was impressed with the public spaces cleaning crew. They did a great job keeping public areas spotless and inviting. There was a leak with the air conditioning vent in my guest room. It dripped all over the wood floor. Fortunately the room has a well designed ceiling fan/light combo that cooled the room after I shut off the air con. The drip was reported to the front desk upon checkout. The front desk staff was very welcoming and competent. Snacks provided daily were a nice touch. The Mgrs. reception was also nice, but was held in a very small space with limited seating. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Savannah.

Despite arriving late and tired, the staff welcomed us warmly. Our accomodations were fine (a bit different, given the historic nature) and we enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal. We utilized a wheelchair and River Street is not ideal for that situation, but we did enjoy our return to Savannah.

We love the River Street Inn. Such an old building, but nicely remodeled. Everyone working there was very nice.
