clean room friendly staff good parking

He turned up and the room was a state. Not cleaned. McDonald’s takeaway all over the place and it smelt. Window open etc. Awful condition.

Very tired property, lots of areas needing repair. Most unfortunate thing was that even though we registered our car on the machine in reception we've been sent a parking fine for £100.

Staff all very friendly. Our food, both our evening meal and breakfast were both lovely. The one downside for me was that even though we had a late check out at 12, my husband had gone on to work and at 10:30am my door was opened by a man who announced he was there to do housekeeping. I’d read in a previous review that another lady had the exact same thing happen to her. I’m thankful I had the chain lock on or I would have been put in a very compromised position! Better communication between reception and when people have checked out needs to be done. It unnerved me and I checked out early..!

Clean room, pool and health club great, breakfast buffet with great selection. Staff arw extremely friendly and attentive

The hotel is lovely and well situated. We had a suite which can accommodate a family of 5. The pool was nice and clean (but water was a little on the cooler side). There were floats and noodles the kids could use as aids. The gym and sauna are nice but we didn’t get to use them. The room service menu is good and well ranging. Not many staff on reception at check out.

Poor! Where to start… Leisure facilities dirty, lack quality and need reinvestment. Restaurant poor quality, my double chicken burger and my son’s chicken burger were burnt and black, they took an order of drinks and forgotten to service, quality of food and quality of cooking was absolutely poor. Two people complained and asked for refunds whilst we were there it was that bad. Room lacked quality! One pillow each, beds uncomfortable and amenities poor Sleeping quality was terrible- noisy people running up and down halls and shouting, not best when trying to have a early night to get some rest Generally very poor and when approaching reception about issues never acknowledged

Waited a while to be signed in ,no staff to be seen . I had asked for a walk in shower but got a shower over the bath,but the staff changed the room . Breakfast was lovely ,room was clean but bed was was very uncomfortable

Room was alright although if I’m honest slightly dated with a TV lacking functionality and a leak with the hot water tap… the breakfast was also really poor at 8:40am it’s surprising to find all the food cold. That being said it was a great experience due to super friendly and accommodating staff. Megan at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and all other staff we interacted with were great.

Perfectly positioned just off of the motorway. Free parking close to the door. Room was of ample size for the family. Pool facilities were great. Breakfast was excellent.

Room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom was also spacious for a budget hotel.

Check-in process was very quick and pleasant. Room was a very good size, clean and being winter the radiator was working rather than the air conditioning. It would have been a nice touch if the radiator valve had been opened prior to checking though as the room was a little cold when I first went into it, however a couple of hours later and it was pleasantly warm. I had a good view from the window too but could not make much use of it as I arrived late and left early on 2 of the 3 days of my stay. Breakfast was very good too, plenty of choice of hot or cold items and the tables were a good size and set well apart. One criticism is that the parking spaces in the car park are very narrow and the car park is often fairly full from visitors to functions, meaning that as a guest you do sometimes have a fair walk with your cases. Another issue is that the lighting in the room is not that good, so if you are going to be working or reading a book, it can be a little difficult on the eyes. Apart from that, an excellent stay
