Room not clean, dirty bed sheets and bathroom. We actually didn’t stay the night in the end as it was that bad.

The staff at reception, bar and restaurant were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious but I did have a family room for myself and my son. Room was a bit dated and the cleanliness was just ok. Flooring in the bathroom room was lifting along the edges of panels so had to be careful the my 4 year old so didn’t go in with bare feet

Had bed and breakfast. Breakfast excellent. If I have to be hypercritical, it was a long walk to the bedroom

Nice hotel with a modern feel. Friendly staff. Main disappointment was the evening meal which was on the pricey side and took a long time to arrive

Don't stay in summer, the rooms are way too hot and don't have air con. Even with the windows open and a fan going it was a very uncomfortable temperature.

Good location, clean rooms

This is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are dated and definitely not as clean as you would like. The bathroom was in terrible condition with the bath all stained and the sink chipped. The walls are so thin you can the conversations of the people in the room next door. The pool and changing rooms were so dirty and poorly maintained. The breakfast was so bad, nothing felt fresh and all the food had clearly been sat out for a while. The only saving grace for this hotel is the staff, all of whom were really friendly and helpful.

Perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay in Chester, plus loads of great amenities. However it was very warm in the rooms but it was an exceptionally hot day

Decent room and good breakfast ..

Clean rooms and pool was good. No air conditioning in the rooms and fire alarms kept going off in the evening. Overall was a good stay.

The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy and lots of lovely pillows. Good bathroom only small but perfectly fine. If this was a compact room it wasn't that small really and a huge TV. My only complaint would be the lift could not be used for customers. Luckily I only had a small case otherwise I would have struggled. The pool itself was lovely and warm. But the changing rooms really need updating. Quite smelly and dirty. Overall quite good value with the use of the pool. And the park and ride is extremely convenient

Nice room, clean and well looked after. Could have done with more tea and coffee, that felt a bit stingy. Only real problem was a persistent fire alarm on one night, which I'm sure was a straightforward fault, but it was disruptive.

Clean and tidy room. Could use some updating but very comfortable.

We were only overnight as had to leave early for ferry but found it fine staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again on my next trip

Only stayed night so did not manage to get in to the gym or pool. Room was nice and clean, although a little noisy at times from other guests passing the room. Easy to get too and close enough to Chester

Saturday morning breakfast was average warm food Sunday a bit better Room 164. was in a poor state ,old furniture, chipped and units not levelwalls not cleaned opposite the bed No shower curtain so floor was soaking wet The window had only a half net curtain ,so as we were near the swimming pool complex so we had to keep the curtains shut for privacy The young man behind the Bar was absolutely fantastic ,great service and welcoming chat and a credit to him Also the reception colleagues were very obligation in everything we asked

Lots of parking, which was great! Our room was lovely and spacious. The spa facilities were great and the staff on front desk were amazing. 100% would go back again.

Just an overnight stay but the staff are very friendly and a tentative. Room was very clean the bed was very comfortable a good choice of breakfast. I’ll be staying again when I’m in the area
