Great buffet breakfast, excellent staff, well located. Pool was awesome.

Meme si je déplore que nous avions du attendre 15h pour prendre la chambre alors que d’autres ont eu les clés avant, l’hotel s’avère être très sympa et les chambres vue mer sont agréables. La clim ne fonctionnait pas. La piscine est très bien. Petit conseil, passez de temps à autres ramasser les verres que les gens laissent. Le SPA fait un peu glauque et je pense qu’un petit rafraîchissement de la décoration serait parfait. Mention pour le petit déjeuner qui était top. En somme, l’hotel est vraiment sympa et bien placé, à 10min à pieds des resto et donc a l’écart du bruit.

Very friendly front desk team, especially Sahel. The service provided by the two cafeterias' teams is excellent and quick. The breakfast buffet is generous. The location is very practical—just a few meters from the beach, within walking distance to St. Julian’s and the Sliema ferry boat station. Buses to Valletta are very easy and quick. I am very satisfied! !

Nice place in the perfect area

I had an issue with the room upon check in but I was promptly taken care of and moved to another room. The view was great...Seaview...The variety at the Breakfast buffet was very good and large. The roof top lack a bit. My group and I didnt enjoy people coming to smoke pot. We didnt spend a lot of time there. I received a bottle of wine as a VIP member but not room upgrade. All and all everything was good.

The Diplomat Hotel has rooms which overlook the mediterranean sea. They are clean, comfortable with excellent facilities. Breakfast is of the highest quality and excellent choice of dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had an enjoyable stay and can highly recommend it.

Excellent location for walking. Good facilities and excellent breakfast. Lots of choice and varied everyday. Generally quiet but it is on the main road so have to accept a bit of noise

Sköna sängar. Bra läge med bra bussförbindelser. Nackdelarna är att hallen var väldigt trång, dörren öppnades inåt och man behövde gå in till badrummet för att låta nästa person gå in. Sedan var personalen alldeles för snabb att ta ens tallrikar när man satt vid frukosten. Min mamma satt och höll i en smörgås som hon tuggade på (hon var uppenbart inte klar) och de kom och frågade om hon var klar. Sedan tog de mitt glas som hade juice i och när jag då sa att jag inte var klar sa de att jag kunde gå och ta ett nytt glas… Också ett minus att bagagerummet inte hade ett lås och det var bara att gå in och ta sin väska när man skulle till flygplatsen.

We had a nice stay at the Diplomat. Right on the seafront. Didn't get a sea view room but we could still see the sea from our balcony. Nice clean room with complementary slippers and bath robes (bath robes are not for keeps though). Friendly staff. Plenty of options at the included breakfast buffet. There's a bus stop about 30 seconds walk outside and the buses are frequent and easy to use. Just jump on and pay a fixed fee which gives you about two hours of travel. Can't be used for a return journey though, you have to pay again to come back but it's only 2 euros so cheap as chips. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Also has a spa, a gym and there's a pool and sun terrace on the roof which was deserted both times we went up there so we had it to ourselves. Has everything you want really. Recommend.

It was good, but the aircon in the room was too loud so couldn’t have it on over night. Also we only received one key so when we left the room the aircon was off and when we got in the room was too hot. Also a bit noisy and it is located on the main road but other than that it was a good hotel, clean with nice rooftop pool and views

Can for sure recomnend this hotel. Staff are really friendly and service minded. Nice - small - pool on room top, loved it. Excellent buffet breakfast. Easy to walk to ferry to Valletta and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was excellent!

The room service was kind of weird, first they gave us new towls in a bag in front of the door, even though we said that we don’t need a room service. On the second day, a room card was missing after the room service, and on the third day they changed the towls and gave us back only one instead of two… Breakfast was really great, you had plenty of choices. Hotel location overall was perfect, directly next to the coastline, next to plenty of restaurants and nice views.

Wonderfully clean throughout, nice to receive a welcome drink and room snacks at the quick check in. Staff were all friendly and professional and the room was spotless. Breakfast buffet was very good, particularly the garlic mushrooms. Handy for buses to and from the airport etc. I will definitely recommend!

From the welcoming drink to check out this hotel is excellent. Room was spacious, clean and safe. Breakfast was incredible from full english,fruit,and pastries. Room gad kettle, fridge and hairdryer all a positive bonus. Walk in town where there us ample places to eat is 20min walk. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which I truly appreciated. However, the room I stayed in was quite outdated and didn't match the photos on the website. While I generally avoid negative reviews, the discrepancy between the advertised appearance and the reality was significant
