Hotel was very busy with a wedding reception during my short stay so I didn't visit any of the hotels amenities. My room was good with a very welcome bath, but when you lifted the loo seat it wouldn't stay so I had to hold it due to the sh3lf above the lavortory. Breakfast was good but the person in charge was slightly over the top in her welcome, insisting on telling me how breakfast service operates, which I didn't need. She then served me the smallest coffee pot available.

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the location.

Lovely old Victorian hotel - retains a lot of old world charm, but modernised for today. Attractive to an older clientele, many of whom were returners. Food was excellent, waiting staff were great and over all we had a good holiday.

Great location , great hotel. Slightly dated but grand in every regard.

Very nice hotel,staff were lovely.The room was good,the building is a beautiful Victorian building.Unfortunatley I thought the food could of been better,breakfast and dinner.

Lovely hotel in excellent position. Staff were great and very useful having its own parking. Our only disappointment was the food . Was ok but expected higher standard for both evening meal and breakfast. Was not expecting it to be a self service breakfast which we really don’t like Overall though we had a very enjoyable stay

Check in was very easy and quick. The room was nice and comfy, a little on the small side, but the view was good. The bar staff were very friendly and the young lady waiting on was very helpful, she even managed to find us a pack of cards to use. Breakfast was very good, it was nice to be served at the buffet and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a really nice stay and we would certainly come again.

Breakfast buffet was decent and the staffs throughout the hotel was helpful and friendly. Can't beat the location

Easy check in with friendly staff, rooms were beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Couldn't fault out stay and we'll certainly be back.

Excellent hotel staff very attentive

Excellent location right on the North Shore beach! It’s perfect for a seaside getaway. The free on-site parking was a huge bonus and very convenient. Highly recommended!

Lovely cooked breakfast with good quality ingredients. Would have like more fresh fruit options. Comfy beds clean spacious modern rooms. Great location. Would definitely stay again
