Fantastic hotel with a great spa and very good restaurants. The staff is very helpful and always so kind, we really enjoyed this stay at Hotel Botanico.

It’s a large hotel, yet it still feels cozy and welcoming. The spacious facilities were excellent, and the property is within walking distance of the shopping area, great restaurants, and the botanical garden. The staff were truly outstanding and made the stay even better.

Great service a 5 star customer experience

Das Personal war durchgehend hervorragend! Sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Die Diversität des Frühstücks war fantastisch, auch nach 1 Woche war das Frühstück immernoch spannend und sehr lecker. Wir waren mit unserer kleinen Tochter, schade war, dass der Spa-Bereich (mit Innenpool) mit Kindern nicht betreten werden darf (die Temperaturen waren leider zu frisch um im Aussenpool zu baden), was aber verständlich ist. Die gebuchte Massage war sehr professionell. Im Hotel befinden sich 3 Restaurant, von welchen uns das Orientalische und Italienische (Papagallo) überzeugt haben und die etwas höheren Preise auch ok sind, da Qualität, Geschmack und Service super waren!

Nice hotel and staff

Room was very nice with balcony. Cleaned twice daily. Change of towels and replenishment daily. Chocolate gift box every evening was a nice touch. Staff very helpful. Lovely breakfast, but would have liked more vegetarian options. Several restaurants on site and several others closeby. Shuttle bus to and from town centre and beach front. The spa section is massive and apparently the largest and best in Europe. Both indoor and outdoor pools and Jacuzzis. Lovely grounds. Just a word of caution, this hotel is in the northern part which is much quieter than the southern part. If you are looking for nightlife and partying perhaps this hotel and this area is not for you.

A really lovely place to stay. The food was universally excellent - nothing disappointing entirely. Staff super-friendly and the spa terrific. Recommend it thoroughly.

Spotless, Relaxing Haven

Fantastiskt klassiskt lyxhotell med mycket god service (en del missar; vi gissar att en del personal var under upplärning men alla var mycket vänliga och tillmötesgående). Fina allmänna utrymmen, flera pooler, utmärkt spa och rent överallt. Utmärkt frukost för de flesta smaker, både nyttiga och mindre nyttiga. Vår juniorsvit med renoverat badrum var vacker och välutrustad MEN badrummet är delvis öppet (en sidovägg ”saknas”; en dörr - och inte i glas - hade passat där). Vi bad inte att få byta rum eftersom vi vid tidigare besök funnit duschen i traditionell juniorsvit ha halt och ojämnt golv och gärna ville ha utrymmet i en juniorsvit men om vi återkommer - vilket vi hoppas; Botanico är ett fantastiskt hotell - kommer vi att boka annan sorts rum.

We have stayed here several times before and I thought every room had a bath and did not request one. I asked the following morning if we could be moved to a room with a bath and this was very kindly and promptly arranged. The problem was insects in the new room. We had 2 little chocolate delivered every evening at turn down. The first night they were crawling with little orange insects. Lots of them. I flushed them down the toilet. The same thing happened the next night. I took them down and showed reception who said the room would be sprayed. It wasn’t. It happened every night and we could see the little insects crawling about in the desk area. I reported it again and asked for a manager to come up and look. I was told that a manager and housekeeping would come to the room. They didn’t. At checkout (we stayed 6 nights) I asked again that a manager come to the room. The receptionist refused and asked me what I wanted done about it. It was of course too late. I told her how unhappy we were with how it had been dealt with (or not dealt with!) We didn’t know what the insects were, whether we should worry about them getting into our belongings,etc and were uncomfortable for most of our stay. Two days later ( we had moved to another hotel in Tenerife) a manager phoned and said she’d just been told and apologised. These things happen. The way it was dealt with was dreadful for a 5 star hotel and I don’t think we’ll return.
