Room was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was excellent

Room great with plenty space for all 3 of us, room shower not so good, had to run about to get wet. Nice pool, although spa bath not working, could do with spa showers in the rooms, were great. Had 3 lovely breakfasts, enjoyed by all, staff very helpful. Food served in bar was nice.

Clean room

Negatives: Very dated and unclean room. Split drink all down the side of the bed which hadn’t been cleaned and bottle/food under the bed. Was also a noise buzzing constantly all evening, I had to turn the air conditioning on to drown it out. Queen size bed in room was very uncomfortable. Very bad nights sleep. Positives - Very friendly helpful staff in reception and the bar area. Restaurant/bar decor wonderful. Breakfast was very nice, enjoyed the omelette option. Pool temp warm.

We always have an amazing stay at the Marriot Gateshead. Everything is so close to where we need to be. Staff are amazing and the grandchildren love swimming in the pool every day. Would highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking to stay

Lovely staff, room was perfect

Good mostly clean hotel in a handy location. Room was beginning to look a little tired around the edges. Next to the Metrocentre and many shops and restaurants including a handy Toby Carvery for good value breakfast!

Excellent hotel only complaint and it’s a little thing just no granola or yogurt on the Sunday at breakfast but Saturday was spot on and Sunday still had almost everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends

great area as very close to Metrocente

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was really good. Room too warm for us personally even with window open. Bathroom fixtures (bath/shower fittings) could do with being updated/modernised. Overall pleasant stay.

Travelled with my daughter and her two boys love this hotel been back twice now loved the gym the pool the sauna coming back in march the food was expensive though and we ate out lovely beautifull hotel would highly recomend well done Delta Hotel

The room heating/cooling system was not affective. The pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress gave myself and my husband a bad back in the morning. The shower pressure was also terrible. The room was dated.

Nice room, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming. Pool area and changing rooms were not as well maintained as other areas of hotel.

Room was fine, excellent service in the restaurant and the gym and pool area was very nice. Parking was fine, and staff are all lovely. Shower in room was terrible, weak pressure and freezing cold. Apart from that very good hotel
