Wonderful staff, beautiful setting, fantastic food.

We loved our stay here. It was 4 nights at the end of a couple of weeks of interrailing and was just the bit of luxury and relaxation we needed. Room had a verandah with lovely lake and garden view. The air-con was much appreciated. The pool and the lake were perfect to cool off in and we always managed to find a lounger (early July) although not always a parasol. Snacks and drinks were available at the poolside. The setting is gorgeous on the side of Lake Orta with the most stunning scenery and so peaceful compared to other Italian Lakes. Water taxis call at the hotel and take you to various places. Don't miss Orta (Sacro Monte too), Isola San Giuilio and, if you are there on a Thursday, the boat ride to Omegna for the huge weekly market. We had breakfast every day and there was plenty of choice of hot and cold food and some options for us vegans: blueberry croissants, coconut yoghurts, oat milk etc plus lovely fresh and tinned fruit options. We dined in the restaurant on one evening right by the lake (some mosquitoes late on). My husband's pasta dish was lovely but my vegan 'terrine' was a bit disappointing and was not a terrine at all, more like a sausage shape made of mashed potato and other veg. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi from Pettenasco station to the hotel for us and when we couldn’t get one for the return trip, organised other transport for us. Thank you Marco. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the reception, restaurant, and housekeeping were exceptionally friendly and professional. The hotel’s pool area and restaurant were absolutely stunning! The room was a little dated, but clean and air-conditioned. We definitely recommend it!

Super endroit au bord du lac d’Orta. La piscine est immense et la baignade combinée lac et piscine un must. Le personnel a été adorable et très accommodant.

L'accueil très agréable, chambre parfaite spacieuse et lit confortable. Service impeccable du personnel qui s'occupe du nettoyage quotidien des chambres. Petits déjeuners copieux, de qualité avec de bons produits locaux. Salle bien aménagée avec des tables bien arrangées. Jardin entretenu et vraiment accueillant.

The breakfast menu was excellent, the room was nice and clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Room was amazing, breathtaking location. Shame the brits on the saga holiday couldn’t crack a smile between them but we loved it and sorry to the staff for having miserable old English people staying

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und neu renoviert. Das Bad bot eine begehbare Dusche mit Regenwald und Handbrause. Im Gesamten war alles sehr grosszügig. Das Beste war der Balkon mit direktem Blick auf den See und sehr sonnig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück bot viel Auswahl.

Rigtig god og sund morgenmad

Lakeside garden was very restful and the swimming pool was clean and quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff who made us feel at home. The hotel's jetty for the boat services on the lake was very convenient.
