Breakfast options were what you would expect and need for a quick eat and go experience.

The pool and hot tub were cloudy and dirty. Breakfast was good. Property was not well maintained. Hallways were very dirty. Bathrooms shower unclean and shower curtain very stained.

Staff friendly

A very clean room, a perfect breakfast to start the day, and friendly efficient staff.

Staff was amazing and helpful. Pool was great for the kids and the hot tub was a great bonus.

The breakfast was decent. Eggs, sausages, waffle maker, selection of bagels/bread with a toaster available. There was yogurt, muffins, cereal and fruit. Coffee and juice was available as well. Staff was very friendly. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub. The rooms were decent. Beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was in need of some repairs (wallpaper peeling, the caulking in the bathtub has definitely seen better days). However, for the cost it’s definitely worth it. We were only there for one night so it was fine.

The heating didnt work in our rooms. The night we stayed there is was -20 outside and we had no heating at all. We went to the desk and all they did was give us blankets. We slept dressed and kept our outdoor coats on! The breakfast was not the best neither. Toast , baguels and that was pretty much it. It was also very akward since the breakfast nook is a small space and the guy who fills up the breakfast and does the washing was just standing there watching you.

The staff need bellboys and also an elevator. It’s difficult carrying heavy luggage plus kids up and dow the stairs. The pool is much smaller than advertised and the hot tub smelled funny.

There was no elevator. Carrying bags to second floor was difficult.

Barrie is a quaint little town with many shops, restaurants and sights to see. CFB Borden is really close by. We enjoyed seeing the base with all of it's history and well made Museum. We will definitely visit again. As far as the hotel, the bed was super comfy, the walls aren't paper thin. It was very convenient being on the 1st floor and having sliding patio doors. I very much enjoyed the hot tub and tub in the room!!

The beds are in desperate need of replacement. Most bathroom fixtures and drains need maintenance or replacement. Loud with disturbance never being attended to. Police at location twice during stay. Outside of property covered in garbage.

Rooms are a bit dated but clean, staff are friendly and amenities are up to par. It’s a place we return to often for our sports team events. Affordable for a group like this and the kids always have fun in the hot tub and pool.

This was an adequate hotel for an evening. I fid not use any of the amenities. The breakfast was acceptable.
