Was sent to a room that wasnt cleaned, obviously they dont check the rooms after housekeeping is done

The bed and room were clean, and we did receive an upgraded room, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel is in need of significant work and maintenance. One major issue was the dryer—after using it, my clothes smelled strongly like dog urine, which was very unpleasant. We were also uncomfortable with the fact that there were homeless individuals using the pool and shower facilities. While there were a couple of positives, the overall experience fell short and did not meet expectations.

We had a good stay. Location was key for us. The hotel basic and dated but, for the most part, satisfied our needs. Definitely needs a facelift and some minor maintenance. The toiler and bath/shower room is tiny, tiny but the room, itself was large, needs more electrical outlets especially by either side of the beds.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Good continental breakfast. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Room we were in had road traffic noise though. Almost like the window was open. Probably an easy fix with new windows.

Hot tub was filthy and gross. Same with the pool. Bathtub was not clean upon arrival.

Hotel tries hard to keep spaces clean and safe - pool appeared well maintained and was clean with fresh towels. the guest arguing in the parking lot wasnt great. Still seems to be best option for a hotel in Maole Ridge.

Staff were good. Room was good. Would love proper cutlery for breakfast. Bamboo isn’t great.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable but the building is very old and the place needs some major remodelling. However it looks like it's the best that Maple Ridge offers.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years because of its proximity to family. It is consistently clean and quiet and the price is resonable. The breakfast offers a wide range of options, but sadly all the plates & cutlery are disposable....understandable but unfortunate.

We spent two weeks and extended to 4 weeks due to an insurance thing. The hotel really felt like home. Breakfast was great staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
