Hotel was excellent. Two very minor comments. 1. Wish hotel would have asked if we were celebrating anything and then offered something small. It was our 40th anniversary. 2. We chose an excursion that was recommended by hotel website (boat & bus) but there was confusion as to the starting point (hotel or Ross castle). We made the trip and it was excellent but there was confusion.

Beautiful rooms and grounds. Room service food did not have a cover so it got wet in the rain. Free breakfast was ok, nothing special.

Beautiful old estate turned into hotel. The charm of the old with the totally modern facilities. All our meals were excellent.

More remote and isolated than I expected, but peaceful and beautiful. Noise from next room could've been an issue, but the white noise on my phone helped. Overall I enjoyed the stay and it was a memorable one.

A must stay. Killarney is a quant little town with a lot to do , and walkable from the hotel. Private and excellent staff and customer service.

We had the most magical stay at Cahernane house. The grounds are spectacular and we used the free bikes and walked to explore them. The staff went over and above to make our time there amazing—from a private history tour to amazing recommendations for places to eat in our next destination, they were incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was exquisite and not over the top, so we felt very comfortable. The included amenities were fabulous. This was absolutely our favorite hotel during our trip to Ireland. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

This hotel is an oasis from the bustle of Killarney. The room was very classy and spacious. Bedding was excellent and love that there was a down pillow. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of options. Stephen is very friendly, excellent bar tender and server. Actually, all staff we were in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Location is close to National Park and about a 15-20 minute walk into city Centre.

Amazing place! Beautiful grounds and rooms, great breakfast in the mornings, nice little pub. Perfect!

Such a beautiful place! Easy to find, staff was warm and wonderful and the food is top notch! Parking was easy and our bed was cozy and so comfortable. I would come here over and over again!

Outstanding breakfast in a beautiful hotel. Everything you want for a relaxing stay in a classic hotel with excellent staff only too eager to make your stay the best it can be.

This was a lovely hotel. We stayed in a manor house room and it was very spacious with a beautiful view. The breakfast was so nice and we had dinner there one night and everything was perfect. The hotel is in a good location close to town and the train station which we used. The staff in the restaurant as well as the check in area could not have been nicer. We are very happy to recommend this hotel.

We arrived home last night and are already making plans to return. Our stay at Cahernane was beyond anything we expected. The house itself was just stunning, the carriage house (where we stayed) was enchanting, breathtaking, and so comfortable and clean. The dining (both in The Cellar and main house) was top notch. And the service on all levels was just lovely. The staff were all accommodating, warm, and kind. We walked the grounds, which are pristine and also explored the area. We did have a car, however will definitely take the bikes next time. Muckross Abbey and House and the Torc Waterfall are within 10 minutes (if that) of the house - all of which were stunning. And the National Park is the other major reason we'd stay here again. There is so much more we want to explore in the park. Don't miss the Gap of Dunloe and Ladies View, and if you do have a car, please go exploring the park roads. Just incredible. On a side note, anyone who is gluten and dairy free will have an easy time here. My husband had no issues dining at either restaurant on grounds and everyone was extremely accommodating. Overall, it was truly a magical experience to be repeated!
