Great property, handy spot for us to visit friends and explore the area. There was a water issue in our original room and staff were very responsive and sorted the issue and moved us very quickly. The provided breakfast was nice and the complimentary cookies were delicious!

All was good until the morning when we had no hot water in our room They offered to allow us to shower in another room but it was too much to change rooms

Need to provide more towels

Clean room. Affordable, safe. Breakfast is ok also.

The room was not very clean. Immediately when entering the room I was greeted with a very foul odor. I checked the restroom and noticed hair on the floor, hair in the shower drain and dirt on the shower floor. The bed had stains on the top sheet and mattress cover. The mattress also had a foul odor which wasn’t very pleasant for me or my partner. We went out and purchased cleaning supplies so we could at least relax in a clean space.

I generally love Holiday Inn express, and it’s usually my first choice for business travel. Recently, I have noticed a greater disparity between Holiday Inn express properties across the nation, and, unfortunately, the Exton, PA location is lower on the list. The bed is comfortable and the room is spacious, however The bathroom was dirty and the room itself could have been better cleaned. There was hair on the towels and in the shower, and there were bad stains in the shower (within the shower, as well as the shower head, and the seams connecting the shower to the wall). The drain in the bathroom sink was broken and the lever did not work so the sink was not draining. I used a coffee stirrer to prop open the drain. The refrigerator would not get cold enough. And the elevator buttons would not alight. You never knew if you’d actually activated the elevator. The breakfast is great. I always love the breakfast at Holiday Inn express. The staff is friendly but not able to communicate well. Fortunately, I speak a couple languages so I was able to get the information I needed, but it would’ve been nice if they could have some basic conversational skills to answer a question like “Where are the stairs?” I probably would not stay at this location again, but I would stay at Holiday Inn express again.

No hot water in shower or sink. Echo in the hallway with no soft close room doors. Shower floor not clean. Ran out of bacon. Pancake machine broken. No one cleaning tables. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express in West Chester which is fine but needed to stay closer to the turnpike. Will not stay at this hotel again.

The check-in process was amazing. The room and cleanliness were meh. The best way to describe this hotel is an old hotel. They slapped some paint on it and threw freeze beads on top of the closet to make the room and the hotel seemed clean. But It is a holiday inn EXPRESS nowhere you should stay behind a nice to rest your head. GREAT location!!!

No hot water in shower or washroom. I want a rebate on my charge

We stayed here for 3 nights. The check in was easy, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast was nice, convenient location, quiet for a busy location, great value. Only down side was the hole in the bedside table (I think where a phone might have used to been at) is not sealed and my charger dropped in and I couldn’t get it out.

Always stay here on business. Clean,centrally located , and plenty of dining locations nearby.
