Great location great views very good breakfast

It was our first time staying at the hotel and would definitely stay again. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was ample size with good storage and cleaned to a high standard daily. The outstanding feature was the balcony and sea view. The bay has a few good restaurants, the hotel restaurant was superb. High quality food and service. Food was cooked perfectly and served piping hot. There is easy access to the whole island by bus from outside the hotel. A perfect stay!

Lovely clean hotel, I think recently renovated. Staff really nice and helpful. Beach view was also lovely this time of year (early June). One small detail was no AC in room and could have done with it but not a reason to knock it for me.

Sea view room perfect, staff friendly and very helpful throughout the hotel. Food choice and quality excellent. My only grumble nothing can be done about - I was in room 307 and the noise from upstairs was horrendous some nights and after midnight (!) thumping across the floor and banging things. Wasn’t worth complaining to hotel staff - not much they could have done! Didn’t spoil my holiday however!! Will definitely go back here next visit - might go for a 4th floor room!!!

The situation of the hotel was superb, the staff were excellent, and for Jersey it was terrific value for money. I will definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel although walls are very thin and you can hear people talking in room next to you.

Absolutely perfect location - right on the beach. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Staff are amazing - so welcoming & flexible. Only ate in the restaurant once but the food was excellent. Really enjoyed the mushy peas 😁

The best view possible from your balcony. Directly overlooking the beach and sea right on the promenade. The room was spotlessly clean, every staff member we encountered was friendly and genuinely gave outstanding customer service.

Unobstructed view ftom balcony. Staff couldn't of been more helpful or attentive. Food lovely. Would come again. No car park but no problem as cheap and easy public car park opposite. Breakfast was excellent value for money if added at time of booking.

Superb customer service and a very good breakfast

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The sea view room was absolutely breath-taking, offering stunning vistas right from my balcony. The room was comfortably heated, ensuring a cozy atmosphere even on cooler nights. The amenities provided were nice, making my stay incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free, which I really appreciated after a long sleepless journey. The security at the hotel was excellent, giving me peace of mind throughout my stay. Parking nearby was very easy to access, adding to the overall convenience. The staff was absolutely brilliant - friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Although I didn't dine at the hotel, so I can't comment on the food, the location offered easy access to the beach, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful Jersey coastline effortlessly. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this 4*Star hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing seaside getaway with excellent service and great amenities.

Having been to Jersey many times and stayed in many excellent hotels we were delighted with our stay at the Golden Sands. The reception area was very welcoming as were the staff. Our room was really lovely and had an unbelievable sea view. The bed was very comfortable, the shower amazing and the tea, coffee and biscuits very welcome. We had lunch when we arrived which was delicious. Breakfast had so much choice, it was really hard to choose! We ate in the evening and again the food was fabulous. The Golden Sands must be so proud of their staff and the exceptional service they give. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back and will recommend this beautiful hotel to others.
