The service was exceptional from front desk, to doorman, to in room dining. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing. The rooms were very clean and have essentials ike shampoo, hair dryer, and extra things like robes. Also brought up a mini fridge for personal items. Never told that the mini bar had sensors on it.

While the rooms are not very large, they are very nicely appointed and beautifully maintained. This is just a gorgeous hotel and something everybody should experience at least once. The lobby area is gorgeous. And the location is so convenient right across from the train station where you can catch VIA rail and commuter trains, or take the UP express to the airport. Definitely will stay here again.

Our stay was incredible! A special thank you to Jessie at Clockwork, who went out of her way to make our evening truly memorable. She was, without question, the highlight of our stay. Watching her craft specialty cocktails was a show in itself, and her exceptional service left a lasting impression. I will be candid: the service at Reign and The Library could use some attention. Both experiences fell below expectations due to a noticeable lack of attentiveness. That said, the quality of the food more than compensated for the service shortcomings, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will forever remember our stay at the Fairmont. Its rich history, elegance, and atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience and a memory we will cherish for years to come.

Everything was as expected and more. Staff at reception were excellent. Exhaust fan in the washroom did not work so lots of condensation on the mirrors. Bed was very very comfortable. Slept really good.

Fabulous staff at reception. We showed up at 9:30 am and he found us a room right away to check in. Reign staff excellent. However, food and drinks were very expensive and small in quantity (but it was fine dining). Partiers arrived on our floor at 1:30 am and were very noisy until 4:00 am. Otherwise… very good.

I had a two-night reservation at the Royal York Hotel and arrived around 1:00 a.m. tofind a long line at the front desk. The hotel had been overbooked and was working to find accommodations for displaced guests. After waiting nearly an hour, I was informed that no room was available for me. Fortunately, the staff found me a room at another hotel about three miles away and advised that the room would be complimentary due to the inconvenience. While I appreciated that solution, I was later charged for the first night and initially had difficulty getting the charge corrected. I am updating my review because the hotel has since resolved the issue and refunded the charge. Although the experience was frustrating at the time, I appreciate that they ultimately stood behind their commitment and made things right. For that reason, I am updating my rating to five stars.

Room was clean but the shower head was not working right. The air conditioner was not cool. Hot sleeping at night. Staff were amazing.

We enjoyed our stay for FIFI World Football opening game of Canada vs Bosnia.

Visit was great, everything went well. I was only slightly disappointed with the elevator situation caused by the renovations but that should be temporary. All else was excellent.

Location is great. Accessibility was very bad. No ramps. Only elevator access is via delivery elevators
