The staff and location are excellent. It’s literally across the street from the train and main Mainz bus stations.
The hotel doesn’t offer any special amenities like say a Hilton would, but to be honest most of us basically want a clean, safe and comfortable place to lie our heads down at night.
Some rooms have carpeting and others wooden floors. There was an issue with my first room hours after I arrived. The staff wasted NO TIME in moving me to another room. They knew I was traveling alone so they made a special point of always engaging with and checking in on me.
I’ll be coming to the area often during the course of this year and will be using this hotel as my base while in Mainz.
During my 7 day stay I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel but it looked like a delicious spread.
