Hôtel situé dans un château datant de 1832. Personnel aimable et professionnel Très beau et grand parc. Décoration de l’hôtel rétro, classique et raffinée. Grande chambre, confortable et calme, elle aussi, avec un style rétro. Petit cours d’histoire de la région en début de soirée par un des membres du personnel, avec un petit verre de bienvenue. Nous avons très bien dîné à l’hôtel. Petite attention originale et délicate, de la part du manager : il prend des photos des clients au fil de ses balades dans l’hôtel … et revient un peu plus tard dans la soirée, avec une jolie photo souvenir pour chacun. Don’t miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! I’ve travelled globally for business 2 out of 4 weeks for the past 15 years. I’ve stayed in some fantastic hotels around the world. Our stay at Abbeyglen castle was the most personal and best customer experience I’ve had anywhere.

The hotel was incredibly charming! The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. My partner and I both said we’ll return for a longer stay next time!

The whole place was awesome. A great view, friendly staff, an awesome room and bathroom, great dinner and breakfast! I would definitely stay there again!

A beautiful venue. I loved my room which had a canopied bed, large bathroom, and plenty of space. The staff was very friendly. Dinner was relaxed. I felt pampered and calmed being there.

We stayed 2 nights. It is very lovely. The Breakfast was fabulous. Its an hour past Galway.

Food was excellent. Don’t need bread served automatically each breakfast. Lotion in bathroom would be nice. Otherwise, fabulous experience!

Loved my stay here at Abbeyglen. Was fortunate enough to hear the history of the town as well as meet the owner. Only wish I had more time to stay at the castle. Food was amazing and the entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

Staff were nice, beds very comfortable and the brook outside the window made sleeping a dream. Could do with some updates here and there but otherwise a lovely stay.

Staff is wonderful. Prosecco story time is always fun!
