The hotel is beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood. The only parking is at public lots but there are 4 lots within a block of the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to Casa Batlló but a taxi is recommended for La Sagrada Familia.

Hotel is comfortable and safe. Walkable to dining and shopping.

Great hotel and location! Wonderful amenities and the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to great restaurants and the Diagonal metro station. The rooms are a bit small but that's typical for Europe. Also has a great restaurant and bar in the lobby!

Bath tub and shower need to be upgraded. Faucet got in the way while showering. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Overall very high end feel.

We had a very comfortable room - the bed and pillows were amazing and we slept so well. Lovely staff and all very clean. The breakfast was excellent. We loved all the art around the hotel and it was great to have a small swimming pool on the roof top to dip in to. Only thing missing for me was tea or coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Great location in a safe neighbourhood. The metro is an 8 minute walk and there was a bus stop right outside too so good for public transport.

Beautiful hotel! The rooms are large and very clean and comfortable. The beds a pillows were very comfortable and they had extra pillows. The staff was responsive and polite. We had a nice large attached balcony to our room which was really nice. The hotel has a lot of restaurants and bakeries walking distance. We loved Mama Babka around the corner. It has amazing pastries and excellent lattes. One small negative - our room faces the street. We could hear people walking home in the middle of the night from their festivities. The next night, I used my travel noise machine and heard nothing.

Great staff went over and above location is perfect walking distance to so many sights can’t wait to visit Barcelona again!

The staff were super nice & very accommodating. We were greeted with smiles & all of our questions were taken care of even though we did not speak the language. The girls at reception printed off maps for us & showed us how to get to where we wanted to go to meet up with our friends. Our luggage was stored safely until we were ready to leave for the airport which was such a great help to us given we were not flying home till very late this evening. Thank you to Dominico & all the desk staff for looking after us so well. We will definitely be recommending the Hotel Astoria to any friends who decide to visit Barcelona...

beautiful and modern hotel

The room we got is a family suite, which perfect for 4 of us (2 parents + 2 youth). Room is very clean and new, also plenty of storage space for each guest. Beds are comfortable. The dining environment also nice. Highly recommended!
