The location alone would make me want to come back. This hotel was in the middle of everything.

Staff was amazing and the property is well situated in the city, easily walkable to shops, the beach and everything else. The pool is heated and there are incredible views from the pool, roof deck and restaurant areas.

Hotel Vis a Vis was our first stop on our honeymoon. Everything was perfect, the staff were so friendly and incredible, breakfast was amazing, and the location was absolutely perfect! The bar manager Andrea Carnevale absolutely amazing. Even if you don't stay here, be sure to visit the Deck Zeus for one of his famous cocktails! We couldn't thank you enough. We will be back!

Fantastisk hotell. Utrulig bra beliggenhet med bare en kort gåtur til gågater/strand, spektakulær utsikt og fantastisk service! Synes beliggenheten var bedre enn forventet. Og utsikten fra både restauranten og baren var magisk! Veldig sjarmerende rom.

Schönes Hotel, exponierte Lage, toller Ausblick von Bar und Restaurant, gutes aber hochpreisiges Essen, tolles Frühstück, freundliches Personal, leider sind die Zimmer etwas hellhörig.

Bellissima vista

Minha estadia foi péssima! O hotel não possui nenhuma condição de cobrar o valor que cobra. Hotel velho, precisando de reformas, atualizações. Quarto ruim, tv minúscula, ar que não funciona direito, ducha péssima (fraca e esfria durante o banho), chave e fechadura do quarto emperradas, móveis velhos e que deveriam ser inutilizados. Café da manhã não é bom, muito basico pelo que cobram. Entrada do hotel com acesso terrível, pouquissimos lugares para estacionar e ainda cobram 13 euros por dia ( e sequer avisaram na recepção) ! Tentei carregar meu carro a noite para facilitar no outro dia e adivinha: NÃO carregou, não funcionava a maquina, perdi 2h do meu roteiro de manhã pois tive que ir em um posto carregar por irresponsabilidade do hotel. (E ainda existe uma taxa de 25 euros). Existem varios outros hoteis muito melhores e com o mesmo valor mais proximos de Santa Margherita ou Portofino, o Via a Vis definitivamente não vale a pena! Minha decepção foi enorme pois fui comemorar meu aniversário, paguei caro e odiei meus dias nesse hotel!

Spectacular view!

We had a wonderful stay at Vis a vis! We stayed in a junior suite which was absolutely perfect, beautifully decorated, great spaces built in for storage, comfortable bed, and bedding, and a decent sized bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised to have a huge patio, which wasn’t shown in the photos for the room. The patio was the full length of the room and had multiple seating and lounger options outside. The staff at the hotel front desk were incredibly friendly. We also really enjoyed the complementary breakfast every morning, which had a very nice selection. The town square was just a short few minute walk from the hotel and had great restaurants and options for shopping. We also took the train to a few other locations along the coast. The train station was about a 10 minute walk and was very easy to figure out, with trains running very frequently up until midnight every night. The hotel even arranged a shuttle to take us to the train station with our luggage the day of our departure for $20 euro. This was quite helpful to not have to cart our luggage around town. We visited in early October, so this was the beginning of the slow season, but we enjoyed how calm the town was this time of year, and felt like we could really feel like locals there. If you’re looking for a great hotel in a quaint town away from the craziness of some of the bigger, touristy cities, this is a great spot!

The Vis a Vis has amazing views. Go to the bar for a drink. It’s not worth the price to stay there. It bills itself as a cruise ship on land. That’s true—the rooms are as tiny as cabins on a boat. And at least in my bathroom, there was mildew growing on the ceiling. Also, the toilet seat was misaligned, so you weren’t fully on the toilet when you sat on it. I expect more from a 4 star hotel. Additionally it’s really loud. Paper thin walls. Not great for light sleepers. And the spa is a complete joke. The facilities aren’t nice. I paid for a 90 minute sports massage. the masseuse seemed utterly clueless as to what she was doing. She spent about 5 minutes on my back, and then texted on her phone for a long time while mindlessly rubbing my left foot with her left hand. She also spent a weird amount of time rubbing my face. I didn’t sign up for a facial.

Hôtel très bien situé dans un parc sur une colline à proximité de la plage. Chambre très bien aménagée et restauration dîner et petit déjeuner parfaite (avec vue panoramique sur mer et montagnes depuis la salle du restaurant). Le service était excellent. ALLIX

We stayed one night in the Family Room. We drove from Nice to Pisa, and then back to the Liguria area for sightseeing. Hotel Vis a Vis is a beautiful location in a friendly and beautiful town. We didn’t get to explore the little town of Sestri Levante because we got to the hotel too late but we enjoyed time at the pool, poolside drinks, and an amazing dinner at the Olimpio restaurant within the hotel. It overlooks the town and has the best view. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Paula walked us around the premises and every member of staff from the bar, pool and restaurant were kind and accommodating. My children are asking when we can come again! We would definitely book here again and plan to stay longer.

Rigtig god oplevelse. Vores værelse blev opgraderet gratis og vi nød flere komplimentære snacks og små retter under vores middag i restauranten. Personalet er imødekommende og servicemindede. Hotellet kan anbefales!

Et helt fantastisk hotell med en helt unik beliggenhet. Fortjener flere stjerner enn den faktisk har.
