Friendly staff,

Clean room and hotel in general. All staff were wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was very rich and had no more to wish. I wouldn't hesitatate to stay here next time we go to Cape town.

We had a one night stay at the commodore. Lovely, welcoming and friendly staff. Nice room but the air con was very noisy and had to turn it off because of this overnight. Otherwise, I couldn’t fault this hotel.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff. Large room, comfortable bed with quality linen. Great buffet breakfast, good coffee. Welcoming lounge & bar.

Great location in V&A. wonderful outdoor space,

It is a good hotel that we have used before, mainly because of its location in easy walking distance from the V&A Waterfront.

The food in the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was so fresh and a fantastic selection to choose from including a freshly made omelette of your choice cooked in front of you. Dinner was also very good. Our room was excellent and staff were wonderful.

Kapstaden är en exceptionell destination och The Commodore ligger utmärkt nära Waterfront och alla underbara restauranger. Gångavstånd till det mesta både till och från också under kvällstid. Personalen är enastående och så omtänksamma.

We were very happy with our stay at the Commodore and would recommend it highly. Before our stay, I was concerned about location, but it’s a very easy walk and safe walk to the V&A waterfront. The breakfast was excellent. The actual dining room while we were there was closed for a few days as they did some work on it, but the outdoor dining area was opened as was the bar area so I think they handled that situation very well. We ate dinner there one night and the food was excellent, but the service could have been better. We had a suite on the sixth floor and it was wonderful with a lovely view.

Fresh and good health selection. Room was clean ,a few stained towels. Given a dodgy ironing board. No gowns or slippers in the rooms had to be requested. Room near the parki area so alot of movemen until late.. maybe sound proof abit.

Hotel and rooms were good. Spacious and clean. But very noisy. If it wasn’t the next room being very loud, it was strange mechanical noise coming from the corner of the room. Didn’t sleep well.

Lovely Hotel, Great location!!

The hotel is definitely showing signs oif the need for a refurb. Tired flooring in bar and restaurant, ridiculously noisy AC units, doors to balcony need updating as do the bathrooms. Staff were generally excellent and breakfast selection was good. I stayed in a 6th floor Deluxe Executive room but overall I felt I was paying for the location rather than any other luxuries.

Home away from home. I stayed at the Commodore half time of my visit of Cape Town and I loved it! It is a bit pricy than other hotels but it is so worth it! First, great spacious, comfortable and quiet room with a view of the pool. Second, I enjoyed their awesome immaculate sauna and steam room + gym, which provide relaxing comfort. Lastly, their staff is attentive without being overwhelming and chasing you for tips, like in the other hotel I stayed. For example, I needed an extension with a converter to charge my phone and use my electric brush, and the maintenance gentleman (Edwin) came and helped and made sure my room was at the right temperature and I knew the channels to watch movies (so sweet!) thanks Edwin! Finally, the breakfast has so many yummy options that I did not have enough time to try it all. All in all, I would always come back. What a nice, cozy and well located hotel!

Very nice hotel with great location

Excellent location, lovely hotel with wonderful staff. Gym pretty small but serves the purpose. Overall very hotel with amazing staff and close to V&A
