Hotel is good and location great. Bathrooms however need better trays. The plastic tray with its terrible anti slip is not good for hotel usage. The cleaners just cannot get that rubbish clean. But the room was comfortable and quiet.

Amazing stay x

Our overall stay was good and we had a great time, the hotel is well located and within touching distance to the town. The hotel decor is good and our room was a great size with a lovely big comfortable bed. The shower/bath are on the small size, but manageable. The three course meal waa tasty and very flavoursum, the breakfast had a large selection but lacked a bit of flavour, it looked better then it tasted. My biggest gripe and it still annoys me now, is the receptionist, we arrived and was made to feel stupid and spoken down too. On payment for our room he refused my cash payment and insisted its card only!! And that im out dated belittled me with cash is 2020!! Joke!! Im sorry but they should be able to receive cash or card!! Its all the same tender and its the Kings currency!! What would have happened if I'd only brought cash with me!! He craked the 2020 joke anout three times and insisted that 90% of Solihull only take card payments!! Well they dont, there are plenty of places in Solihull that accept the kings money!! We had a good time but I wont be returning anytime soon.

Rooms were lovely and modern. I had a standard room which was lovely. The only slight let down was when booking a room it said a king size bed which wasn't the case but it was lovely. I would recommend anyone to stay here and would definitely stay again.

Was visiting for the NEC Games Expo. Hotel conveniently located just a short drive away. Facilites and room really nice with lots of parking available. Parking fee was £10 for the night which I was aware off but something to keep in mind. Had diner and breakfast at the hotel and food and service were great. A lovely and convenient location for our family trip.

We have been once a year twice now and we are hoping to book next year. Lovely hotel

The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. We had several issues with our room and were immediately offered to change rooms. We chose not to as were satisfied with the response to our reported problems The only place we found this hotel fell down was in the condition of the spa area. All of it is in need of a deep clean/bleach/refurb. Although it didn't prevent ua enjoying, the cleanliness of the pool side (brown on the walls, missing floor tiles, loose surround to the jacuzzi) left us very disappointment with the standards. It would also be an improvement to have somewhere private to change. I will end on a positive-Restaurant food was a very high quality for both breakfast and dinner. More choice on the evening menu would have been welcomed. Looked to book for next year however our required dates are not yet available.

Great stay whilst we were at an event at NEC. Arrived at checkin which was very friendly and efficient. Room was pleasent - big bed, slight odd (sort of square rather then rectangle) pillows, very comfortable but had to change my normal sleeping position to accomadate it. Bed was perfect! Bathroom nice a clean and plenty of hot water for showers. Location was great - we walked into town for dinner, in under 5 minutes there was a huge choice of eateries. We had breakfast in the morning, decent quality, good choice of food, friendly service. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again if we're in the area.

We visited on our trip to Cadbury world with our 6 year old grandson Had an excellent stay. Staff really helpful. Plentiful breakfast, lots of choice and freshly cooked. Pancakes and bacon amazing! Very accomodating with grandson. Room was amazing, massive bed, really comfy. Appreciated complimentary bottled water. Only hotel ive ever stayed in that provided decaff tea bags in room. Huge plus for me. Couldnt fault our stay, would definitely stay again. Cant comment on pool as we didnt really get chance to use it.

Absolutely terrible my friend wasn't allowed a room after being a regular there for a long time.... Terrible staff awful rooms and a really badly run hotel.

We stayed here to go to a concert at resorts world, was not expecting the hotel to be as lovely as it was. Could not fault a thing.

Great location. Close to shops and restaurants. Staff were always very helpful.

Easy check in. Nice large room, very clean Great location for the town centre Free parking. Nice pool area and lovely modern gym Delicious and plentiful breakfast

Just one lift to service all the rooms!

The food in the restaurant was poor, the steak was very gristly, I ordered it with potatoes and it came with chips, how can you make that mistake. When I brought this to their attention, they applied a discount without me asking, however, the discounted figure was still far to much for what I ate. We have been to this hotel previously and the food was good, so not aware to what has changed. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and the room was not cleaned after the first night, not what you would expect from an IHG hotel.

Bed size for a standard double, well you would need to be a dwarf !
