The temperature was too hot in the room. Seems like the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Told the staff 3 different times however it wasn’t fixed. Also the breakfast buffet that costs extra was average. Should have opted out of that and found a breakfast spot in the area.

The only complaint I have is that there was not very much light in the room. Just two wall lights by the beds and one in the hall. There was no floor lamp to have light enough to read in the chair. The room was clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff was top notch.

Great stay

Excellent location, helpful professional staff, clean and modern decor, hard bed and pillows, no water pressure in shower resulting in never feeling clean, very dimly lit lavatory making it difficult to even select toilet buttons, and only back lighting in the room resulting in it being dim. Also, no ability to control room temperature with thermostat. It could only be controlled from a remote location.

We had a great time with the minute we stepped into the hotel till we left. Great staff helped us with ice and their killer fresh breakfast. Definitely great walking distance to any pubs and shops around town. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great. The location was within walking distance to most everything. Breakfast was nice and staff were great. I highly recommend.

Generally good all round but room was poorly lit giving impression of being unwelcoming and depressing

The staff were very helpful as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and employees were helpful. The rooms were great and quiet.

A great location, rooms need updating, mainly bathrooms. TVs not smart, so if you are sitting in, can't connect to Netflix. Very helpful staff, small but nice bar. I've stayed a few times, would stay again.

We waren met het gezin en hadden twee kamers geboekt, de beide kamers waren prima. Prima bedden en de kamers waren goed onderhouden en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hadden een verloopstekker meegenomen voor het opladen van de telefoons maar er waren usb aansluitingen op de kamer naast de bedden. Het enige wat ik jammer vond was dat er weinig waterdruk was met het douche. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was prima en er was voor ieder wat wils. Diverse broodjes en fruit.

Koselig hotell, med hjelpsomme ansatte. God frokost, og god atmosfære både i frokostsal, og ellers rundt på hotellet. Litt artig at man får 3 senger på rommet, selv om man bestiller dobbeltrom for 2 ;-) Hotellet har fin beliggenhet, og man kommer raskt ned til Temple Bar, som for øvrig var en opplevelse i seg selv! Takk for oss, Dublin - vi kommer garantert tilbake :-)

Great location, solid breakfast. However, the bed and pillows were dreadful. Pillows like bags of sand.

Room was nice with a great view of Christchurch. Room was clean. Air conditioning was broken and wasnt told until the 3rd day of our stay that it could not be fixed. They did provide us with a fan, but it was still very stuffy. We were on the street side, so leaving the window open all the time was not going to work with the busy traffic and church bells ringing all night.

Breakfast menu was fine, tasty. But never changed and we were here for a week. Rooms were clean, however, we were given an option to upgrade our room to get one with a view, when we arrived they said they couldn’t “honor” it because we were there for “so long”. No big deal. But that was the start of our experience.. keep reading! When we took showers at the end of the day, the water pressure was so low, it barely came out as a sprinkle, and the water could barely get to lukewarm temp. It was maddening! Then to top it off, sleeping after that was almost impossible. The beds were as hard as rocks, and the sheets were rough, and the pillows felt like stacks of compressed cardboard with a rough pillow case covering it. The next morning I asked the reception If someone could check why our shower wasn’t working. They said if they couldn’t fix it they’d move us into a new room. End of day came, no one communicated to each other so when we asked about it, no one knew, but they ended moving our room to “one with a view” of Christ church cathedral. Lovely! However, the water pressure was equally as weak, could barely rinse the soap off yourself or the shampoo out of your hair. I kindly asked the reception about this and I was told “Ireland has an issue with water pressure. It’s normal”. So for 6 nights and $2,000 dollars, on Easter week, we dealt with miserable hard beds, hard as concrete pillows, no water pressure. Other hotels in Ireland we went to after had fabulous water pressure!
