staff are great the heat was making things difficult but they really helped me and my husband who has a disability

Room clean bed very comfortable but very hot as no AC Staff very polite and helpful parking good Breakfast very good great choice but having the coffee bit opposite hot food and also entrance mayhem when busy! Also difficult to see what’s on offer until you got past Hot food needs reorganisation

We were a corporate event and numerous guests said their aircon didn't work. I can only presume this was due to lack of maintenance. We were on the top floor and it was very hot despite the extra fans the hotel provided. The room was nice and generally clean except for heavy dust on some shelves & on top of the safe. Under the toilet rim was a bit uninviting. There was sometimes a lack of staff. I waited about 10 mins to check out. The breakfast was OK. It had the usual Full English & Continental but they needed more staff to clear the tables. Generally, the hotel was OK but could be better. We still had a great event.

Very average hotel. Some areas of the room beginning to look like they need some redecoration etc. Bed comfy but for the price it is pretty poor that no air con available. Reception ok. Some quite entitled guests with no manners. Car park good a a very good location. Bar staff were very helpful. Just lacks that finesse that a lot of other hotels bring to the table these days - i stayed to see if it was suitable for a group booking - sad to say it isn't up to the standard I would want.

The hotel is not in Oxford, is actually 30 minutes drive from the actual city and just a few rooms have air conditioning. If you plan to come during summer, the rooms are quite hot.

There is a small green algi in the steam room on the walls that could be looked into sorting please

The room was quite warm as there was no air conditioning. However, the current temperatures are unusually high, so I wouldn’t consider this a negative under normal circumstances. There was plenty of parking available, including both fast and standard EV charging points. Breakfast was self-service with a good selection, and everything was really nice.

Staff were very helpful despite being busy with several different groups. Hotel put on an earlier breakfast than usual for F1 and football fans. Would recommend

This place is full of character and charm. Lots of local travelers, less international -- providing a distinctly British feel.

Nice hotel breakfast dissapointing tables not cleared food not replenished, a prom previous night next day toilet disgusting obviously not clean since prom Had wedding came back late room key wouldn't work bed made but dirty sheet left on it and moth flew out when pulled duvet back not good

Nice place, nice rooms pool and sauna were just what I needed.

There was no air conditioning available. There were spider webs and moth cocoons in the room and although reported to staff nothing was done about it. Bed was comfortable

Really beautiful setting and well proportioned rooms. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (my dad who was also staying left his phone in the restaurant and just as I was heading downstairs to find it for him someone was at our door to hand it over!) Air con is a little dated and not very effective, but everything else was really excellent.

Hotel was very poor at realising that the room was FULLY paid for through Hotels.com, and charged a credit card for which they had no authorisation on THIS room. Not impressed. Refund took 3 days to arrive in account. This should have been instant. No apology given, and had to ring again the next day, even after explaining the situation to the checkout staff

Very spacious and comfortable family room with a beautiful rainforest shower head in a massive shower. We slept very well and felt very at home. We also really enjoyed the spa facilities and swimming pool. It felt like we were on holiday although it was only a 1 night work trip. I would definitely stay again.

Great 5 star , friendly staff and plenty of parking.

I rented a suite for three people and there were no sheets for the sofa bed or towels. Very limited service for a 4-star hotel. A second room also lacked towels. The hotel is showing its age.

All the staff I dealt with were very helpful. The restaurant staff were especially good, lead by an excellent manager, Alison, great team.

i like staying at this hotel and the rooms are always clean. The bar restaurant area was a real mess! Untidy, old food plates and glasses/cups everywhere. Floor dirty and unkempt. My salad was less than ok. not a described, missing ingredients. The staff were over run and under real pressure Will stay again, definitely won't eat.
