I ahve stayed at red lion many many times. This was the worst time. The TV was messed up when we were trying to relax in the suite after wandering the city. The front desk attendant helped fix that. The sink was dirty when we got into the room. Toothpaste was still in the sink. The bed and suite were well kept otherwise. The main aggrevation of the trip was at 7:30-8am, the housekeepers were talking and yelling in Korean and laughing in the hallway for hours. We found out when we were leaving that the maids room was across the way and they had the door wide open. Our sleep was disrupted and so we're left tired for the day. This should be common knowledge that before 9-10am people are sleeping. Warning! If you get room 120, ask to move!!!!

They upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge. Chris the manager is helpful and nice.

The hotel was fine for us for a one night stop over. Rooms were clean but very warm and small. There was aircon in the room and we could open the window. Beds were comfy (quite a soft mattress). Kitchenette was fine, we didn't really use it but could be handy. Location was quite a bit further than we expected from Downtown but the parking was convenient at the hotel. Quite a bit of noise in the bedrooms next door at 10-11pm but quietened down after this.

A Chinese restaurant and bar on the premises was great when we checked in late afternoon. Bus to downtown very close.

The staff at this property particularly the cleaners and laundry staff were remarkable. The front desk staff were equally great. Our room was great , quiet and looked after daily.

My stuffs was stolen in the parking of Red Hotel, the elevator isn’t working. I don’t filling comfortable in this hotel.

They have a good size frigde

It was an older type hotel, but cannot say enough things about the warmth and helpfulness of the staff at the front desk. They were amazing. Despite being on the lower level, did not hear any noise at all and had a wonderful nights sleep. I would definitely go again.

Great location, room.

Everything was ok. It was just the elevator was not working and was a inconvenience for us to carry the bags

only stayed one night so didn't need laundry. kitchen was well stocked.

The bed was decent. Shower was good with good water pressure. The room is dated but okay for a budget priced hotel. The elevator that we would use wasn't working so we had to use a different one to a different floor and walk down. The building floor plan is quirky and hard to get familiar with. Parking lot was well lit and felt safe.

Great location great price.

The restaurant bar was in construction and the pool was closed for the season.

Nice room

The room was not huge but quite well-equipped. Photos did not show that there was an induction hot-plate with pans, very useful. There was a lot of smoking around the hotel with no attention paid to the 7 metre law. The staff could have been more proactive about this but clearly cater to an Asian clientele that is used to smoking right outside doorways. As a result be prepared to hold your nose entering the property and wading through cigarette butts at the side entrances. In addition, it is clear that some suites are rented out to people on social assistance. At first we thought having the Galloping Goose trail right outside our room was an advantage however we quickly realized it wasn't since it is essentially a homeless camp. Our toilet plugged up for no apparent reason, however staff were quick to remedy the problem.
