We have always stayed in the Vale with family over many years and love returning. Facilities are great and gym and pool are a family favourite

Overall this is a resort mainly focused on golf and leisure trips. The facilities are excellent (gym and golf courses) and the service was very good throughout and location is lovely in the countryside conveniently located near the M4. My only criticism is that the buildings themselves are a bit sterile and the bar and restaurant tend to be catering the golf groups etc but overall the hotel is definitely of a good standard and has excellent facilities

The room was clean. The staff were courteous at all times. Breakfast was great. The veranda at the side of the breakfast suite is an excellent place to socialise, great suntrap. The atmosphere is so relaxing & peaceful. My wife & I will be back next year. Found a great place for a long weekend break. I am disabled with Lung Disease CHP/ILD, I require oxygen 24/7. The hotel allowed me to have my oxygen on the premises. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Vale resort for one night, after attending a wedding at Hensol Castle. We didn't use the spa or pool, but will remember to bring our swimsuits for next time. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had both a bath plus a separate, powerful shower, although the toilet was a bit high for a short person like me. The breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. All good 👍

Breakfast was fantastic, but as we were meeting friends we didn’t use the facilities. Although one of the other party did and found it very relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful especially as one of the other party had health issues.

Very good stay lovely hotel and surroundings

Staff were very informative at reception explaining where everything was within the hotel . Room was well maintained and comfortable . Good breakfast and items were presented well. Would definitely recommend the hotel and facilities. A good buzz in the bar also .
