We loved our stay!

We absolutely loved the place .Its very cozy and cute.The hummingbirds in front of the office left me speechless.I had not seen so many hummingbirds at the same time .Everything was very clean and well maintained inside the room .We did not use the pool but it looks like new.They have plants which I love and sheeps in the back .The river is also in the back .Beautiful.I strongly recommend the place .I wish we have more time to spend there .

Probably one of the best managed hotels I’ve stayed in. Easy check-in, friendly staff, ample amenities, very helpful on recommendations for local attractions, and facility was very comfortable, clean and host very welcoming. Owners were obviously personally involved in operating motel and it showed.

Cool, funky Sierra Mt. spot. Corrals with live animals out back and beautiful river and mountain views. Very sweet lady in the office.

The room was clean and comfortable, the washer/dryer was nearby and worked great. The location was good for our hikes in Sequoia National Park.

Jane and her whole family were amazing. We had so much fun with the baby goats, they were adorable. The brown cow in the front yard greeted us every morning on our way to pick up a fantastic homemade pastrie and eggs AND every evening upon our return from amazing local journies. The place had everything we could ask for during our stay, we would definitely stay again!

It was very cozy. There were a lot of options (walk, lake, pool), but we stayed only one night.

Logement de type motel très bien situé pour visiter Sequoia NP. Jeux pour enfants, piscine et animaux sur place en font un lieu idéal pour les familles. Les chambres sont simples mais propres et bien équipées (frigo, micro ondes, cafetière).

Lazy J motel had great rooms and amenities. Check in was seamless, more like a little cottage room. Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping us stocked on items. Animals in the back with a beautiful view. I would recommend this Motel for anyone visiting the national park. They were very welcoming and friendly.

My husband and I loved staying here during our first visit to Sequoia National Park. The manager was very helpful with providing a map of the town and a list of restaurants sorted by distance to the motel. This is a really nice, family friendly motel with farm animals, a pool, a playground, and a library of movies to rent. I only marked down one star because the TV in our room seemed to buffer a lot, but that could just be due to the mountain location. Really not a big deal though. The location is very conveniently close to the park and many local restaurants and shops. We definitely plan to return here when we have our own family of little ones to entertain!

Overall the property was really cute. The staff was helpful. The only issue was that we came across 3 spiders in the room. 2 were in the linens on the bed. 1 in the bathroom.

Superbe surprise ! Le cadre est vraiment top pour admirer le couché du soleil sur le lac. La piscine est top, les jeux a disposition pour les enfants aussi. Et le service est vraiment top.

Room and location was just as advertised, “cozy”! It was clean and in good condition for age and location. Only complaint was the air conditioning was a bit stuffy even when running overnight.

I was pleased to have such a quiet and comfortable room to stay and enjoy my down time. Although it is an older establishment, the property is well kept and comfortable. The pool was clean and play area was perfect for families. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. The location is next to the lake but not really a place that I ventured. Funny to hear animal noises but cute as well. (There are a few sheep/goats in a penned area belonging to the owners). Overall the Lazy J was lovely.

Great Shower Pressure and very friendly Cats and desk Girl at check-in. I Cats left us two dead mice at our door as a worship offering to the gods! 😂👍🇺🇸

We only stayed 1 night on our way to the national park and this was perfect for our family of 5. The room was clean and the area felt safe. There was a little play set for the kids to play on, and just behind the rooms were some sheep and goats and an area to watch the river. Couldn't really access the river because it seemed like the area might have been a little flooded? But it was still such a great view. They had DVD's in the office to borrow to watch in room. The cable wasn't working in our room, and we checked in late so we weren't able to address with the office but it wasn't a big deal for us. Quick couple minutes drive to the market and to the coffee shop.

We arrived late, after hours. The manager was very understanding, and accommodating. Room is big, clean with big refrigerator, microwave and kitchen ware. Daily house keeping is nice and replenish supplies. Farm has few goats & sheep in pen. Lake nearby for fishing (need license). Lots of colorful humming birds. Overall above expectation. Had a fantastic vacation. Highly recommended.

Superbe emplacement avec vue sur les montagnes, lac, au calme et proche du sequoia parc. Personnel très sympathique. Ambiance petit camping familiale.
