The balcony view of the Taj Mahal was surreal.

From start to finish, this was truly the best service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. We opted for the private terrace dinner, and it was nothing short of magical. The chef personally met with us to plan a custom menu based on our preferences, and every detail—from the setting to the flavors—was absolutely perfect. The entire experience was thoughtful, seamless, and unforgettable. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Staying at The Oberoi, Amarvilas was nothing short of magical—an experience so exquisite that it lingers long after leaving. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I’d stepped into a world where every detail had been thoughtfully crafted for beauty, comfort, and serenity. The view of the Taj Mahal is nothing less than breathtaking. Waking up to the soft morning light illuminating the marble monument felt surreal, as if the Taj had been placed there just for me. Whether viewed through the large picture windows, from the private balcony, or while enjoying breakfast, the Taj Mahal seemed to shift moods throughout the day—peach-tinted at dawn, dazzling under the afternoon sun, and softly glowing under the evening sky. The attention to detail at the Oberoi is on another level. Every element—from the intricately carved latticework in the lobby to the delicate floral arrangements refreshed daily—whispers elegance. The scent of jasmine and sandalwood drifts subtly through the corridors. Each staff member greets you by name, offering warm smiles and thoughtful gestures that make the experience feel deeply personal. My room was a sanctuary: polished marble floors, plush bedding with layers of soft linens, and a bathroom that felt like a private spa. Even the placement of the lights, the curated tea selection, and the perfectly pressed robes showed deliberate care.

We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it truly made the occasion memorable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, adding thoughtful touches that made the experience unforgettable. The room was beautifully prepared, and every detail reflected great care and hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the delicious meals and excellent service throughout our stay, everything was perfect. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our special day and will definitely return.

Outstanding hospitality and service

Very luxury hotel. Beautiful view and facilities with good restaurants and good service. The price is a bit high per night, but all other alternatives in AGRA are far behind a luxury standard.

Amazing hotel with outstanding customer service. Nothing was ever too much for the staff and their attention and care really sets this hotel apart from others. The view of the Taj from the room, live music and the beautiful pool made our stay memorable. Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in across the world.
